The Twelve Tribes of Israel.
An Anthology and Novellae Based on Biblical, Talmudic, and Midrashic Sources.
This work is about 550 pages long in Hebrew text meaning in English terms the equivalent of ca. 700 pages.
Each page is full of important information that deserves to be well considered.
Rabbi Fishel Mael has given us a go-ahead to make use of his work to write a series of articles.
These articles are only brief outlines of selected topics and do not do justice to the multiplicity of sources and review of different opinions that are to be found in the original.
Neither do we intend to cover all of the subjects considered even though they too may have great importance and interest.
Note: For every statement made in the articles listed in the Contents above Fishel Mael brings (in full quotation) at least one source and more often than not several sources.
We have preferred to only quote one or two of the sources in question and in some cases not to quote the sources at all.
