He had two sons Ephraim and
Manasseh. These children will be discussed later separately.
Joseph saved Egypt and the surrounding regions (possibly the whole world) from
famine [Genesis 41:57]. He also helped his brothers who did not recognize him at
first. In the End he was reconciled to them and enabled them to settle in the
Land of Goshen east of the Nile. Ultimately this area was to be included in the
Promised Land that will be an eternal inheritance for Israel (Joshua 11:41). The
reconciliation was effected after the intercession (verging on confrontation) of
Judah [Genesis 44:18-19]. Judah had interceded on behalf of Benjamin. [The
Temple was built mainly in the portion of Benjamin and perhaps the issue of
whether or not to rebuild the Temple will bring about Reconciliation?]. Joseph
nourished his father and his brothers and by the use of economic coercion
introduced economic and social changes to Egypt [Genesis 47:12-26].
When Israel was about to die he asked Joseph to promise to bury him in the Land
of Canaan [Genesis 47:30-31]. This symbolizes Joseph being instrumental in
beginning the return of Judah to the Land.
Joseph went with his sons Ephraim and Manasseh to receive a blessing from Israel
and each son was made the same as a Tribe in its own right [Genesis 48:1-5].
A Nation and A Community of
Nations
meaning Judah and Joseph
Jacob recalled the promises made to him by the Almighty that he should be
fruitful and multitudinous, that he should become A Community of Peoples (Kahal
Amim translated in the KJV as A MULTITUDE OF PEOPLE) and receives the Land.
Previously Jacob had been blessed that his seed should become a nation and a
community of nations. This referred to the nation of Judah (the Jews) and to the
Ten Tribes (under Joseph) who may be considered a Community of Nations.
[Genesis 48:4] AND SAID UNTO ME, BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE THEE FRUITFUL, AND MULTIPLY
THEE, AND I WILL MAKE OF THEE A MULTITUDE OF PEOPLE [Kahal Amim i.e. A Community
of Peoples]; AND WILL GIVE THIS LAND TO THY SEED AFTER THEE FOR AN EVERLASTING
POSSESSION.
We see A Community of Peoples to represent Joseph and the Ten Tribes and to be
distinct from Judah.
Previously Jacob had been blessed:
[Genesis 35:10] AND GOD SAID UNTO HIM, THY NAME IS JACOB: THY NAME SHALL NOT BE
CALLED ANY MORE JACOB, BUT ISRAEL SHALL BE THY NAME: AND HE CALLED HIS NAME
ISRAEL.
[Genesis 35:11] AND GOD SAID UNTO HIM, I AM GOD ALMIGHTY: BE FRUITFUL AND
MULTIPLY; A NATION AND A COMPANY OF NATIONS SHALL BE OF THEE, AND KINGS SHALL
COME OUT OF THY LOINS.
Here A NATION refers to Judah (the Jews) AND A COMPANY OF NATIONS to the Ten
Tribes of Israel headed by Joseph.
More Identifying Signs
Israel foresaw the sons of Joseph acting like non-Jews and temporarily being
lost but later reconciled.
[Genesis 48:8] AND ISRAEL BEHELD JOSEPH'S SONS, AND SAID, WHO ARE THESE?

Israel blessed Joseph that his children should be blessed and that
they should be named after Abraham and Isaac and himself.
[Genesis 48:15] AND HE BLESSED JOSEPH, AND SAID, GOD, BEFORE WHOM MY FATHERS
ABRAHAM AND ISAAC DID WALK, THE GOD WHICH FED ME ALL MY LIFE LONG UNTO THIS DAY,
[Genesis 48:16] THE ANGEL WHICH REDEEMED ME FROM ALL EVIL, BLESS THE LADS; AND
LET MY NAME BE NAMED ON THEM, AND THE NAME OF MY FATHERS ABRAHAM AND ISAAC; AND
LET THEM GROW INTO A MULTITUDE IN THE MIDST OF THE EARTH.
Descendants of Joseph from the Lost Tribes in Ireland and Britain were known as
Hiberi i.e. Hebrews after Abraham the Hebrew and as Scotti which also means
Wanderers or Hebrews. The Scythians (Zohak, Iski-Guli, Sacae) and Saxons were
named after Isaac. Other national nick-names derive from Jacob or from Jack
which is short for Jacob i.e. Union Jack, Jock (Scottish), Jacques (French),
Yank.

Jacob later blessed all his other sons. The blessings to the
individual Tribes will be discussed later. The blessings to Ephraim and
Manasseh as separate entities will also be treated separately.
Jacob returned and gave Joseph an additional blessing.
Joseph was to be a Ben Porat translated as a A FRUITFUL BOUGH [Genesis 49:22]
but also meaning "A Powerfully Fertile Son" or "A Son of Power",
A WELL WHOSE BRANCHES RUN OVER THE WALL: In Hebrew: "ali ayin" which can also
mean above (al) the eye (ayin).
We thus have a "Powerful Son" overseen by the Eye of Providence as depicted on
the Great Seal overlooking the Pyramid (Picture of Egypt) symbol of Joseph (Midrash
Numbers Rabah 2;5).
OVER THE WALL. Hebrew "ali Shor". The word "Shor" as well as meaning "wall" can
also mean bull so "ali Shor" could also mean "for the sake of the bull" and
Joseph was likened unto a bull. The bull and bull-calf became the symbol of
Ephraim.

expansion. cf. HE SHALL POUR THE WATER OUT OF HIS BUCKETS, AND HIS SEED SHALL
BE IN MANY WATERS, AND HIS KING SHALL BE HIGHER THAN AGAG, AND HIS KINGDOM SHALL
BE EXALTED [Numbers 24:7].
[Genesis 49:23] THE ARCHERS HAVE SORELY GRIEVED HIM, AND SHOT AT HIM, AND HATED
HIM:
Arrows are part of the symbolism of the USA and 13 appear grouped together on
the dollar bill.
Rabbinical Commentators have indicate that the shooting of archers could indicate the firing of rockets.
The only nations so far to have had to seriously endure rocket attacks are Britain and Israel.
Britain suffered during World War 2 when the Germans attempted to intimidate and terrorize the British population by
firing V2 rockets from the Continent.
Later the State of Israel during was bombarded by 39 Iraqi Scud missiles during the First Gulf War (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991).
The losses of Israel were comparativley light ONLY due to a series of almost open miracles.

Later the Arabs in Gaza also bombarded southern Israel with rocket fire which was largely ineffectual (again due to Divine Proetection)
but caused property damage and psychological trauma.
[Genesis 49:24] BUT HIS BOW ABODE IN STRENGTH, AND THE ARMS OF HIS HANDS WERE
MADE STRONG BY THE HANDS OF THE MIGHTY GOD OF JACOB; FROM THENCE IS THE
SHEPHERD, THE STONE OF ISRAEL:

ALMIGHTY, WHO SHALL BLESS THEE WITH BLESSINGS OF HEAVEN ABOVE, BLESSINGS OF THE
DEEP THAT LIETH UNDER, BLESSINGS OF THE BREASTS, AND OF THE WOMB:

agriculture.
BLESSINGS OF THE DEEP: Water and mineral resources.
THE BREASTS, AND OF THE WOMB: Health and fertility and bounty and family life
all gifts from the Almighty.
The Separate Special
Blessing to Joseph
[Genesis 49:26] THE BLESSINGS OF THY FATHER HAVE PREVAILED ABOVE THE BLESSINGS
OF MY PROGENITORS UNTO THE UTMOST BOUND OF THE EVERLASTING HILLS: THEY SHALL BE
ON THE HEAD OF JOSEPH, AND ON THE CROWN OF THE HEAD OF HIM THAT WAS SEPARATE
FROM HIS BRETHREN.
Joseph is here receiving a SEPARATE
BLESSING! All the other Tribes were to receive the blessings of Abraham and
Isaac as Jacob transmitted them. Jacob (i.e. Israel) is here however adding a
special blessing to Joseph that is far greater than that of his forefather and
he is giving it to Joseph!
Joseph was to be blessed more than all of the other tribes put together. Joseph
was separated from his brothers.
Steven Collins points out that America and Britain are geographically separated
from the rest of the world, as are Australia and New Zealand. Napoleon remarked
that Britain could not be considered part of Europe.
Later a picture representing Egypt was chosen as the symbol of Joseph. The
pyramid in the American Great Seal (seen on the dollar bill) immediately recalls
Egypt to the mind of whoever sees it.
SEPARATE FROM HIS BRETHREN. In Hebrew "Nazir achiv" which expression is repeated
in the blessing of Moses to Joseph.
Ths expression is a play on
words and also means "Rule over his brothers" (see below).
Moses also blessed Joseph as a unit (Deuteronomy 33:13):
Joseph would be blessed with was blessed with agricultural prosperity, healthy
lands, and mineral resources in plenty.
The blessing of Moses reflects that of Israel to Joseph.
[Deuteronomy 33:16] AND FOR THE PRECIOUS THINGS OF THE EARTH AND FULNESS
THEREOF, AND FOR THE GOOD WILL OF HIM THAT DWELT IN THE BUSH: LET THE BLESSING
COME UPON THE HEAD OF JOSEPH, AND UPON THE TOP OF THE HEAD OF HIM THAT WAS
SEPARATED FROM HIS BRETHREN.
Joseph was apart from his brothers.
THAT WAS SEPARATED FROM HIS BRETHREN. In Hebrew "Nazir
Echav".
There is a play on words here.
"Nazir"
can mean both "separated from" e.g. we have the
Nazir
(Nazirite)
who separates himself from wine and impurity.
Nezer
(from the same word root) can also mean crown e.g.
AND I TOOK THE CROWN [Hebrew: "nezer"]
THAT WAS UPON HIS HEAD (2-Samuel 1:10).
It follows that the expression concerning Joseph "Nazir
Echav"
could alternately mean "crowned over his brothers".
Lion and Unicorn
[Deuteronomy 33:17] HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE FIRSTLING OF HIS BULL, AND HIS
HORNS ARE LIKE THE HORNS OF UNICORNS: WITH THEM HE SHALL PUSH THE PEOPLE
TOGETHER TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: AND THEY ARE THE TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM,
AND THEY ARE THE THOUSANDS OF MANASSEH.
This verse mentions Ephraim and Manasseh as separate Tribal Entities but it
links them together as representative of Joseph.

Summary : Signs needed for the
Identification of Joseph
To identify the Present-Day Descendants of Joseph we should look for the
following characteristics that were either hinted at or expressly mentioned:
Scottish Tartan Design as a national characteristic.
Sheaves (of grain) as part of the national ethos.
13 Stars. The national symbol of the US originally featured 13 stars as still
seen on the US dollars. Nowadays it has 13 stripes and fifty stars, one of each
state. Nevertheless the number 13 and the symbolization of stars retains
significance. The dream of Joseph featured 11 stars along with the sun and moon.
Representations of the sun and moon are problematic since they are also used as
pagan symbols. So are stars but in a less over manner. In symbolic terms the sun
and moon may also be considered as stars so turning the sun and moon into two extra stars to make 13 is acceptable.
Features of North European (Germani) being common though not always predominant
since an Egyptian admixture was also present. We would want to find a
Mediterranean-Nordic admixture such as what has been present in the British
Isles since the earliest times.
Large numbers of peoples, a great multitude.
A Company of nations: The United Kingdom, the United States, the British
Commonwealth, Britain and the USA together, etc. All these could be considered a
company of nations in addition to which the other Israelite nations (the
Netherlands, France, etc) in the eyes of foreigners are considered in some way
to be a "company" with them.
Hebrew Patriarchal Names: Union Jack, Jock (Scottish), Jacques (French), Yank.
BRANCHES RUN OVER THE WALL. Overseas colonization and settlement; The bull
symbol; The All-Seeing Eye; the pyramid symbol; International Power; 13 arrows.
Climate and agriculture.
BLESSINGS OF THE DEEP: Water and mineral resources.
Health and fertility and bounty and family life all gifts from the Almighty.
Separate geographically from other peoples.
Symbolized by the Lion and Unicorn.
The nations that most fulfill these indicators are the British Isles, USA,
Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

We see that identifying signs of Joseph include
Scottish Tartan; Sheaves of grain); 13 Stars; Large populations; Hebrew

Abraham, Isaac, and Israel

Their descendants reflect them both.

And feed the world with American grain.
Grant relief from toil and pain.
Several different nations
Historically linked together
Controlling with a tether
Alien strategic stations.
A company of polities
Owing no apologies.
Swarming with a great host
of numerous large population
They would have the most
of Colonial Plantation
and political elation.
They must bear the name
of Abraham the first Hebrew
As the Scotti
and Hiberi
do.
Reflect in glory and fame
Isaac the Ancestral Grandad
Whose blessing Joseph via Jacob had
Anglo-Saxon is the cognomen
Of English-speaking men and women.
For in Isaac they are called.
Represented by Great Eagle Bald
And by lion and unicorn
Joseph had right of firstborn.
From Judah comes the future king
But Joseph Empire would take
Each one to his own thing.
Jacob is nicknamed Jack and Jake.
A Jock is a Scott, Jacques a Gaul.

These are the progenitor names.
That Joseph would be known by.
Nullifying all other claims

Meaning over Gentiles rule.
Joseph was a sanctified tool.

They would live in healthy clime
Good soil, water, and rain.
Corn, wheat, and wine sublime.
Health and strength without bane.
Fruit, beef, sheep, and fish
Eaten as delicious dish.
Lands flowing with milk and honey
Blessing and joy in all their fields.
Everything that the soil yields
Bountiful harvests with plenty of money.
Oil, gold, silver, copper, tin, and zinc
Everything mineral that you can think.
The archers at him did shoot
Barbs of steel and rockets.
Joseph does not give a hoot
He will rock their sockets.
Joseph would dwell separate and alone
In every place he set the tone.
This is what we are now,
Cannot fake or break or leave it
Even if we know not how
We must still receive it.

The Midrash
says that Joseph looked like a
Germani meaning like a very fair
person from the North. Joseph looked like his father Jacob but the other
brothers apparently did not all do so. There were different physical types
amongst the ancient Israelites ranging from quite dark to very fair. Physical
appearance is determined by a combination of environmental factors that relate
to genetic potential over a period of time ranging from one generation to
hundreds. We have discussed this at some length in The Tribes and elsewhere.
