Lone Option Brit-Am and the Jewish Do-Gooders: The Difference Between Us. I just received the latest post from a Jewish Political Commentator living in Israel. As usual the content is good, intellectual, honest. In many ways it is similar to a whole group of pro-Israel Political Commentary. They all seem to the have the same approach and make similar points in general though each one may point to different specific applications. They say: a. Foreign Media is prejudiced against Israel. Israel is presented as not wanting peace and as oppressing the Palestinians. This is not true. News reports from foreign sources are often mendacious and unashamedly prejudicial against Israel. b. There is no-one to talk to on the other side. Hamas in Gaza exists to destroy the State of Israel. That is its whole reason for being. They do not want peace. The Palestine Authority is almost the same as Hamas. The Authority however officially declares that it is prepared to take whatever it can get through diplomatic means while refusing to give Israel anything. They too openly declare that their aim is the ultimate destruction of Israel. They would prefer to do this by violent means. They educate their children to become jihad suiciders. Until the opportunity presents itself however they are sometimes (i.e. not always) prepared to accept concessions from Israel since these weaken the Jewish State. This is what they themselves say. Our Jewish friends and colleagues point all this out. It is not hard to do. It is what the Arabs themselves admit. The world however hides its head and closes its ears and presents another picture. Our friends merely show us what is obvious. What they strongly imply however is in our opinion mistaken. They seem to say that if the Palestinians could be at all trusted, if they had a modicum of basic decency, then there would be something to negotiate about. The fault, according to them, is not that the Jews are unwilling to compromise but rather that there is no-one to compromise with. We disagree. On the one hand if something is right in a Divine Biblical Sense it will be paralleled by Natural Justice. The Bible says that the Land belongs to Israel and that the Jews should now take possession of it. Parallel to this one should find that according to historical, legal, humanitarian, and other considerations the Jews have valid claims. This is Natural Justice that parallels that of Scripture. Very nice. Perhaps that is how the atheistic pagan enlightened Gentiles should be spoken to? Nevertheless, the truth is that no matter how genial the Arab Philistine so-called Palestinians could become, in the Dreamland of Liberal Theorem, they should still leave: Give them money, compensate them, help them re-settle, or simply kick them out if they get hostile. Whatever it takes, they must leave. If left to themselves most of them would do so willingly. [Numbers 33:55] But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell. 56 Moreover it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them. It existed long before Menachem Begin and his Peace with Egypt, and long before the Oslo Betrayal. Begin in 1978-1979 gave Egypt the whole of Sinai and agreed that the Palestinians elsewhere could have autonomy. Begin had been a hero of the Israeli right-wing. A gifted charismatic orator, who had been promoted as the symbol of Jewish nationalism Begin carried most of the nation with him. After Begin came the Oslo Accords. These were a continuation of the Madrid Conference of 1991 attended by PM Yitschak Shamir.
When the Oslo Accords became public a great deal of pressure was exerted on the Government of Israel. The Israeli Media and other forces in its turn applied extreme convincing measures on the Israel Public. Certain National Religious leaders including a coterie of well-known American modern Jewish Orthodox Rabbis suddenly began saying the Oslo Accords should be given a chance. They wanted to believe that the Arabs had changed. Besides they had US guarantees. Subsequent to these accords the position of the State of Israel suffered grievously. See: JN-997. Jerusalem News. #3. The problem was Oslo - not the occupation This is without mentioning the ca. 1500 Jewish dead and thousands of injured that resulted through Oslo. As far as the Left is concerned Israel did not go far enough. They will never be satisfied. Norway before then as well as the other Scandinavian countries had more or less been friendly towards Israel. Now they became antagonistic. Israel to their minds had not gone far enough.

What applies to Scandinavia is also pertinent to most of the rest of the world. It was as if the Israel as the victim was guilty for only letting its legs be cut off instead of cutting its own throat altogether. It is time to look at reality. The Jewish People needs the Land of Israel. It needs it now and it will need it for centuries to come. Our children will need it. In order to keep that part of the Land of Israel already in Jewish possession all the Arabs will have to leave. We will never be able to make peace with them. This is the reality for better or for worse and perhaps it is for the better? Joshua 11: 19 There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, except the Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibeon. All the others they took in battle. 20 For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that He might utterly destroy them, and that they might receive no mercy, but that He might destroy them, as the Lord had commanded Moses. Since the Arabs will never make peace with us then Israel should act accordingly. All areas of the Land of Israel now in our possession should be settled. Surrounding areas should also be settled. Satellite colonies of friendly descendants of the Ten Tribes from Western nations should be set up round about.
