The DAILY PROOF: The Philistines as Facilitators of the Israelite Movement to the West. 3 April 2012, 11 Nissan 5772 We saw that it had been prophesied that a portion of the Israelites would be exiled by Sea [Isaiah 9:1, 11:11], in large ships and fish-boats (Amos 4:2). [See the Brit-Am Commentary (BAC) to these verses.] They were to be taken away by the Philistines (Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Ekron, see Amos 1:6,8) and delivered to Edom in Europe. Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Ekron were Philistine cities. The Israelite Exiles from the Ten Tribes were also to be taken away by the Phoenicians of Tyre (Amos 1:9) . Scripture and History indicate that the Philistines and Phoenicians were intertwined with each other to some degree. The Philistines had a mixed Canaanite-Phoenician, Minoan (Isle of Crete type), and Mycenean (Greek) type culture. Just after the Exile of the Israelite Tribes by the Assyrians we find changes in Europe. Colonies were established under Assyrian aegis of Minoan (Philistine) culture in Spain, North Germany, Scandinavia. Likewise settlements of Phoenician culture were also set up in Western Europe. In some cases a direct correspondence with the exploitation of local mineral resources took place. Most of the Megalithic monuments and the culture behind them appear to date from this period. Many of the inhabitants of the new polities were of Israelite origin. The movement of Israelites to the west by Philistines and Phoenicians from Tyre is confirmed by archaeological, historical, and mythological sources. We are preparing a series of articles on this subject. The proofs we have from secular sources on these matters correspond with Biblical Passages. This is Evidence. It is yet more proof that the Ten Tribes today are to be found amongst Western Peoples. |

The DAILY PROOF: 5 April 2012, 13 Nissan 5772 The Phoenicians from Tyre as Facilitators of the Israelite Movement to the West. Scripture prophesied that a portion of the Israelites would be exiled by Sea [Isaiah 9:1, 11:11], in large ships and fish-boats (Amos 4:2). [See the Brit-Am Commentary (BAC) to these verses.] They were to be taken away by the Philistines (Amos 1:6,8) and by the Phoenicians of Tyre (Amos 1:9) who would deliver them to Edom in Europe. The Philistines were culturally Minoans and a leading element amongst them had arrived from Crete the center of Minoan civilization. Minoans, Myceaneans (from Greece), and Phoenicians were all intertwined with each other to some degree. See: Philistines and Israelites in the West. Phoenician Colonies in co-ordination with the Assyrians were established in Spain, Scandinavia, and elsewhere in Northern Europe. Likewise strong indications exist of Phoenicians in Ireland, Britain, and Gaul. Irish and Greek traditions confirm these movements. Archaeological and other evidence (at least concerning Spain) proves that these settlements involved the re-settlement of Israelites. The settlements in Spain lasted until ca. 500 BCE after which they moved to the northwest and then to West France, and Ireland. We wrote of this in some detail in our works "Lost Israelite Identity" and especially "Origin". Subsequent research has confirmed and strengthened these findings. Megalithic monuments and the culture behind them in Europe are traceable to these events. This is Evidence. It is yet more proof that the Ten Tribes today are to be found amongst Western Peoples. The DAILY PROOF: 18 April 2012, 26 Nissan 5772 The Ten Tribes and the European Children of Gomer The Prophet Hosea (chapters one and two) was commanded to mate with a loose woman called Gomer. He bore children from them. These children are explained to represent the Ten Tribes of northern Israel who were destined to be exiled and loose their identity. The Almighty says HE would temporarily disown them but in the End Times they will return to be acknowledged as HIS children. Hosea explains how they were to loose their identity but become great and wealthy and eventually return to know (and have it be known) who they are. See: The Book of Hosea: Chapter Summaries. Gomer was also the name of a group of nations descended from Japhet (Genesis 10) who elsewhere are described as being in Europe. Regions attributed to Gomer son of Japhet are also those attributed to the Lost Ten Tribes. On the whole the sources incline to identify Gomer and his descandants in our time as descriptive of "Celtic" and "Germanic" peoples. The Brit-Am identification of the Lost Ten Tribes with groups in Western and Northern nations corresponds with the above. Historically the entities we identify as Israelites were on the whole associated with these federations and migrated westward with them.
