Proving the Identity of the Lost Tribes of Israel

PART ONE

"Biblical Proof" covers several prophecies, out of the thousands that exist, proving beyond any doubt the Identity of the Lost Tribes of Israel.  Even those who are thoroughly familiar with Mr. Davidiy's writings will  find additional points of interest, new perspectives, and new information in "Biblical Proof". Each proof is examined separately but needs to be considered together with all the other evidence presented at this time by Brit-Am.

Moses prophesied concerning Joseph:


 In this (and other) blessings Joseph was promised agricultural bounty, mineral resources, favorable climate; He was associated with a people being pushed together unto the ends of the earth.
 
"Ends of the EARTH" when considered from the Land of Israel means: The continents of America and Australia, and the geographical extremities of South Africa and Northwest Europe. The very name of England  (Angleterre in French) can be understood as meaning "Corner of the Land", i.e. Angle-Land, or "End of the Earth". The prophet Isaiah appears several times to have located the Lost Tribes of Israel in the "Ends of the Earth" e.g


The King James Translation of Isaiah 41:9 [above] instead of 'chief parts' has 'chief men'. This interpretation, if correct, is reflecting a most unusual employment of Hebrew expression for if 'men' were meant the Bible would indicate it more explicitly.  The Hebrew expression used in Isaiah is "ATZILAYAH" and this means "chiefs of" or "nobility of" or "highest points of" and to the author's mind is qualifying which of the Earth's ends would belong to Israel, - obviously the best and most noble ones. The Hebrew word (Atzil) is related to the Nordic Aedil meaning noble. It also connotes reserved and in a sense all the areas settled by the sons of Joseph had been reserved for them, since previously they were often sparsely occupied before the sons of Joseph reached them.  Areas in which we have traced the Lost Ten Tribes are qualitatively the best regions of the earth. Climate and Geography influence the characteristics of the inhabitants. These are not the only factors but they are important. The Geography of Scandinavia, Holland, France, Britain, North America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the State of Israel has determined something in the National Personality of the people involved. It is the interaction of the people with the Land that is important. "Atzil" can also mean "arm-pit" as a noun and as a verb can connote delegation or bequeathment of quality.

The author once came across a book of instruction for professional Jewish Orthodox Scribes. These people have the very exacting task of perfectly transcribing certain Scriptural passages onto parchment. Most of this parchment is derived from calve skins. The book of instruction was also a guide of professional advice. It was stated that North America and Argentina are the two main sources for calfskin. It was also stated that different geographic regions have intrinsic properties of their own and that something about North America rendered calve skin from therein superior. The Talmud was quoted to the effect that different regions give rise to different types of people and that some areas are better in certain respects than others. Regions in which the Lost Ten Tribes settled are the best in the world.

A similar reference to World's ends is found in another passage:

(Isaiah 43;6)
"I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back; bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ENDS OF THE EARTH".

 In this verse the Midrash (Sifrei, Haazinu 32:11) links north country with the return of the exiles and an eagle, the symbol of the USA:


 England, in the French language is called ‘Angleterre’, or literally end of the earth. We have shown how 'end of the earth' and 'ends of the earth' were one of the descriptions applied to the location of the Lost Ten Tribes in the End Times - according to the Prophets.  I have just obtained a book, "Deconstructing the Bible: Abraham Ibn Ezra's Introduction to the Torah," by Irene Lancaster, London 2003. The book concerns the Commentary of Rabbi Abraham Iben Ezra (1089-ca. 1165).  Iben Ezra was borne in Spain and during his lifetime traveled in France, Italy, North Africa, Egypt, the Land of Israel, before reaching India. Towards the end of his life he settled in England and apparently died there.

The authoress says (p.17):
 <<One of the most puzzling questions in Jewish intellectual history is why Ibn Ezra should have come to England? The answer may well lie in the contemporary cultural and financial links between the Jews of Normandy and England described above. However, other reasons may well have been equally important for Ibn Ezra. In many ways England could be considered as prime virgin territory for the implanting of Sephardic [i.e. Spanish Jewish] cultural seeds at the end of one man's very long life. In those days 'Angleterre' was regarded as being at the 'edge of the earth', and was therefore of great interest to someone of Ibn Ezra's evangelical and messianic mentality>>.

The word used for 'end' or 'ends' in Hebrew, in connection with ends of the earth and Israel, is usually "Katseh", or in plural "Kastvot".  This word, when connected with the word for "Earth" (Aretz), can be associated everywhere it appears in the Bible with the Tribes of Israel.  We will devote, (God willing), a complete article to this subject in another forum.

Most nations that contain a significant portion of Israelite descendants are situated at the "ends of the earth" as mentioned  (Deuteronomy 33:17 "afsei-aretz", Isaiah 41:9 "katsvot haaretz", Isaiah 43:6) meaning the geographical extremities as measured from Jerusalem. This is how it was prophesied. Most of the "ends of the earth" belong to Israel. North America, the British Isles, Northwest Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, which all may be considered "ends of the earth", and in these areas most people of Israelite descent, from the Ten Tribes, are to be found.

King David in Psalm 61 speaks of crying from the ends of the earth. This Psalm at first looks to be a personal prayer of David himself but it is not so. David identified completely with Israel. Whatever happened to Israel was felt by David as if he himself was personally experiencing it. When David cried for salvation he was viewing Israel in the ‘Latter Times’ and crying out on their behalf.

"FOR THOU HAST BEEN A SHELTER FOR ME AND A STRONG TOWER FROM THE ENEMY"

  In Isaiah 49:6 the Tribes of Jacob are expressly linked with the ends of the earth.

The whole of Isaiah 49 speaks of the Lost Ten Tribes as we have explained elsewhere and as confirmed by the Talmud and Midrash.

Most Brit-Am 'Lost Israelites' are at the ends of the earth and most ends of the earth belong to Israel. There are exceptions however.

Argentina and Paraguay in South America, along  with Japan and Siberia, are also "ends of the earth". In Argentina there exists a settlement of Welshmen and the country was once controlled by British and American investments. Before the creation of the State of Israel there were once plans to give the Jews an autonomous region of their own based on agriculture in Argentina. Jewish migration to that region was encouraged. In the end nothing came of this plan though the Jewish population in Argentina remains large. It is highly assimilated, not especially prosperous, and subject to strong anti-Semitic harassment by the local Gentiles. The predominant non-Israelite population of Argentina is of Spanish and Italian origin. Immigrants from Germany and their influence are important there as well.  Nazi and Nazi-like outlooks amongst the ruling classes are strong. The border area between Paraguay and Argentina is dominated by Nazis and Palestinians and known for drugs and arms traffic. Israelites should perhaps, when opportunity arises, take over this region and use it to resettle the Palestinians.

The nearby Falkland Islands remain British, and Britain not so long ago went to war over them. The Falkland Islands may also be considered the ends of the earth in this region.

Control of the Antarctic is divided between Britain, Australia, and France.

"Siberia" is not 'Israelite' but Russian. It once enjoyed, in some areas, a better climate than it has now and Israelite-Scythian tribes were in the area but later moved west.

Japan is also not Israelite. The Japanese are mainly of a stock related to the Koreans and northern Chinese. They also contain "Semitic" elements. Edomites and Moabites may have settled in Japan. In addition, there exist some traditions and indications of an ancient Israelite presence in Japan but these are controversial and at all events apply only to a small section of the population.

# 2 - The Eagle

The Bald-Headed Eagle

We saw how the geographical extremities of Continental masses, or ends of the earth, were connected in Scripture to the Lost Ten Tribes and their whereabouts in the end times.  One of the passages we referred to was from Isaiah: 


In commenting on this verse the Midrash (Sifrei, Haazinu 32:11) links the North Country with the return of the exiles and an eagle, the symbol of the USA:

A bald-headed eagle is the symbol of the USA.

Micah chapter one tells of the prophecy that came to him CONCERNING SAMARIA AND JERUSALEM (1:1) meaning the Lost Ten Tribes and Judah.

He goes on to say:

Micah links Jacob with Samaria. Samaria was a major city in Manasseh and at one stage the capital of the entire Northern Kingdom. In Prophecy 'Samaria' represents the Lost Ten Tribes in their place of exile. Jacob is also  linked with Samaria. The nickname Yank (American) derives from the Hebrew form of Jacob. Both Judah and Samaria are being warned here. Then warning is given to the townships of Aphrah (1:10), Saphir, Zanaan, and Bethezel (1:11), Maroth (1:12), Lachish (1:13), Oresheth-Gath, Achzib (1:14), Mareshah, and Adullam (1:16).  There follows a reference to the baldness of an eagle:


All of the above places appear to have belonged to either Benjamin or Judah. These all appear to be places whose inhabitants were exiled by the Assyrians and who joined the Ten Tribes in exile. The Lost Ten Tribes also include many from the southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin, just as Judah eventually included many from The Lost Ten Tribes.  <<ENLARGE THY BALDNESS AS THE EAGLE>> The bald-headed eagle is the symbol of the USA.

The eagle in Scripture in some cases can symbolize the enemies of Israel: (Deuteronomy 28:4, Habakkuk 1:8, Obadiah 1:4 Lamentations 4:19 Jeremiah 4:13 Jeremiah 49:16). Historically the eagle was the symbol of the Roman Empire, of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, of the German Reich, of Poland, and probably of other nations as well most of whom was much of the time antagonistic to the Jewish and Israelite peoples.

The eagle can also represent the God of Israel, the righteous amongst the people of Israel, and their salvation (Exodus 19:4 Deuteronomy 32:11 Isaiah 40:31).

The eagle is one of the four creatures in the chariot of Ezekiel (1:10).

Ezekiel, chapter 17, speaks of two eagles both representing aspects of the exile of Israel and Judah, or of Judah only.

At all events Micah 1:16 speaks of the baldness of the eagle in connection with the exile of townships of Judah, who were about to join the Lost Ten Tribes in Exile and be considered as part of them.

To my mind this is significant but others may not be so impressed. At all events it is one indication amongst very many others and should be considered as part of the whole.

The Bible describes Ephraim as the "Firstborn" and also connects him with "the ISLES":

Similarly, Isaiah connects Israel with Isles in the same passage of Isaiah that speaks of the Brit-Am 'Covenant of the people', and is connected with colonialism and the settlement of North America and Australia.


Isaiah 11:11 in the Hebrew also mentions the Isles of the Sea:

 [Hebrew: Eyi = Islands] OF THE SEA.

These are the exiles of Judah and Israel: The places spoken of are areas to which the exiles were taken and from there went elsewhere. They are not necessarily places from which the exiles will return.

ASSYRIA: the Lost Ten Tribes were exiled by Assyria. Some equate Assyria WITH GERMANY.

EGYPT in Hebrew is Mitsrayim. Some of the Lost Tribes were exiled via Egypt and so too were many of the Jews. The Celts of Britain and Ireland had early contacts with Egypt. Egypt (Mitsraimin in Hebrew) in some contexts can also equal Russia.

PATHROS is a place in Egypt though some say a place on the Turkish border.

ETHIOPIA in Hebrew is "Cush".  Cush could mean 'Africa' in general; Sudan, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, India, Central Asia. In connection with the Lost Ten tribes we believe in most cases that Cush applies to Central Asia. This was referred to as 'India' in Dutch Frisian sources and was the area they said their ancestors went to after leaving Israel and before moving to the west.

Cush was equated with Ethiopia. Homer spoke of an Ethiopia in the east and another far to the west.

F. de Rougemont, "L'Age du Bronze," (Paris 1866), pointed out that in North African Berber dialects Ethiopia can mean People of Joppa. Joppa is Jaffa in southern Israel that was bequeathed to Dan but conquered by Ephraim from the Canaanites. According to their own traditions many of the Berbers of North Africa descended from Canaanites who had been expelled by the Israelites. The Phoenicians and several Arab groups originally spoke a Berber-type language. The Israelites, Phoenicians, and North Africans all had links with Ireland.

ELAM is an area in southwest Persia. Elam was once an important country. The bulk of the Ancient Persians were probably of Elamite origin. Elamite was the most common spoken language amongst the Persians. Archeological findings reveal a connection between Elam and the Sacae of Central Asia who became the Anglo-Saxons. Elam was descended from Sem.  Craig White and others trace people of Yugoslavia to Elam.

SHINAR meaning Babylon but also applied to the northern shores of the Black Sea.  Babylon was an important dispersion point for the Jews of Judah.

HAMATH: Daphne of Antiochea was a suburb of Hamath and it was connected with the Lost Ten Tribes. An Irish tradition says that their ancestors and those of the British Celts were taken as slaves by Phoenician agents of the Assyrian based in Hamath to Spain and from there they moved to the British Isles. This agrees with historical and archaeological findings.

BIBLICAL LANGUAGE: It is important to remember that the Prophets spoke in their language according to terms familiar to them. They spoke the truth. The names given by the Prophets to different places in connection with future events may be the same places that had those names at that time; OR they may be different places to which descendants of the same people moved; OR they may have had names that sounded similar to the names the Prophets employed, e.g. Hamath was an important city in northern Syria, but you also had Ecbatana (the capital of Media), known as Hamadan, and according to Daat Mikra also referred to in the Bible as Hamath.

COASTLANDS OF THE SEA: in Hebrew Iyai HaYam or 'Isles of the Sea' are referring to the British Isles.
The connection we have made between Isaiah 11:11 and the Lost Ten Tribes appears to be confirmed by the Zohar (VaYechi), as we explained in our work "Ephraim".

The Lost Ten Tribes who will be found gathered together in specific areas. THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH i.e. the Jews who are scattered all over the world.

[Isaiah 11:13]
 "THE JEALOUSY OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND THOSE WHO HARASS JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF; EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH, AND JUDAH SHALL NOT HARASS EPHRAIM."

# 4  Cyrus

# 5 - Thighs, Peninsulas, Coasts:

This proof complements and ties in with other proofs such as ends of the earth and north country. We consider it a separate proof since in appears that the Hebrew word (yarcetei) meaning literally thighs and translated as coast actually refers to Peninsulas. A peninsula is a projection (i.e. a thigh) of land in to water, connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land, called an isthmus. Major Lost Israelite Tribal centers such as Jutland (Denmark), Scandinavia, and North America are peninsulas.


<<FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY>>: Most of the Lost Ten Tribes will be in the North, i.e.


They will be mostly to the North of the Land of Israel but also in other places. We pointed out that to the north meant Northern Europe and North America that was referred to as The Great North Land in Phoenician writings according to Barry Fell. The Lost Ten Tribes would also be ingathered FROM THE COASTS OF THE EARTH. The word translated as COASTS in Hebrew is Yarcetei meaning literally thighs.  Buleh (Daat Mikra) says that this word is used synonymously with ends of the earth. It was prophesied frequently that the Lost Tribes would be in the ends or geographical extremities of the Continental masses, as indeed they are in every case, e.g. Western Europe, Scandinavia, Britain, North America, Australia, South Africa. It may be a bit fanciful to mention but if you look at a map of North America it does look somewhat similar to a thigh.

They will return by plane and by ship.  It may well be similar to how the Ethiopian Jews returned to Israel. We saw pictures of women who had given birth in flight:  i.e.  HER THAT TRAVAILETH WITH CHILD. This type of transport in which everybody could be safely conducted was not possible until modern times.

North Country and Coasts of the Earth regarding the Latter Day Era of our own time refers to North America, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and like places. Even in the time of Jeremiah these expressions could refer to areas in Northern Europe. A related expression connected with the Lost Ten Tribes is ends of the earth (Genesis 33;13, Isaiah 41;8,9,13). This expression too in ancient times could relate to northern regions:

<In innumerable places Egyptian, Hebrew, Babylonian, Greek, and Latin writings refer to the most northerly lands as the ends of the earth> (Jurgen Spanuch, Atlantic of the North,   p. 28).

The Egyptians saw the world as divided into nine bows which correspond roughly to the modern concept of meridians of latitude &. Pliny the Elder said that the ninth division of the world goes across the Hyperboreans (i.e. the Cimbrian peninsula - present-day Jutland [in Denmark]).. with a seventeen hour day (at its longest). F.A. Ukert pointed out long ago that this method of dividing the world was taken from the Egyptians and that the ninth bow corresponds to the area between latitudes 52 and 57 & Between these latitudes lie north Germany, Denmark, and southern Scandinavia (Jurgen Spanuch, Atlantic of the North,  p.29).  Spanuch is saying that by ends of the earth the ancients specifically meant what later became Israelite centers in Northern Europe. This is a further point justifying our understanding of the term as used by the prophets concerning the Lost Ten Tribes to refer to those same regions.


<<I AM A FATHER TO ISRAEL, AND EPHRAIM IS MY FIRSTBORN>>: God will return and acknowledge the Lost Ten Tribes as His people along side Judah. This will be known to all. The Lost Ten Tribes will no longer be lost. At present they are Lost: Most of them are not aware of their true Israelite identity and this identity is not known to others.

<<God says to Israel, You are my sons and I am your father, as it says:


 It is honorable for the children to be with their father and it is an honor for the father to be with his children>>. (Shemot Rabah 34;4).


 Notice the linkage of North Country, coasts of the earth, Israel, Ephraim, and "Isles afar off".

# 6 - BRIT-AM:

The Lost Ten Tribes will comprise a "Brit-Am", or Confederation of People(s).


<<A COVENANT OF THE PEOPLE>>: in Hebrew "Brit-Am". Israel will be a Brit-Am. In the Middle Ages Britain sometimes referred to herself as Britammia. The Welsh called themselves, Bryth y Brithan, or Briths of Brithan [Charles A. L. Totten: ‘The Romance of History: Lost Israel Found’, USA, 1890].

In Biblical Hebrew "brith" means covenant.

The Rabbinical Biblical Commentator Malbim says that Brit-Am means Israel.

This is why we chose "Brit-Am" for the name of our organization.  Brit-Am represents the Lost Ten Tribes returning. Other reasons were that Brit-Am hints at Britain from whom many of those to whom we direct our message originate. Our friend Cecil Davis pointed out that Brit-Am can also be understand as a shortened way of saying Britain and America.

The Talmud and Midrashim say that this verse and all the verses around concern the Lost Ten Tribes and their ultimate return and re-unification with Judah. We have quoted some of these sources at length in "Ephraim" and elsewhere…

  "A covenant of the people [Hebrew: "BRIT-AM" i.e. Britain], to establish the earth [or in the Hebrew: "to found a country", e.g. the U.S.A., the State of Israel], to cause to inherit the desolate heritages".

"Desolate heritages" relatively speaking were the regions of North America, Australia and New Zealand, and South Africa before the nations here spoken of colonized them. Also, on a long-term geo-political and economical level the Zionist- Jewish re-settlement of part of the Land of Israel was made possible (like and/or believe it or not), in some measure, due to the policies of Britain (sic!) and America!!

The Lost Ten Tribes were to be associated with the name "Brit-Am" and with the concept it represents: The Commonwealth of Nations, and the Commonwealth of the People. British and American Constitutional Understanding and Law entail (each with their own different points of emphasis) the Conception of Confederation and of a Peoples Covenant, a sacred bonding and mutual obligation between different parts of the nation and basic in alienable rights. All this is entailed by the Covenant of the People with the Nation. All of this is summed up in the Hebrew expression "Brit-Am".  "Brit-Am" is the Lost Tribes of Israel and their future reunification with Judah. This point is also spoken of in Isaiah 49: Concerning the Reaction of Judah when he sees the Lost Ten Tribes returning: [Isaiah 49:21] THEN SHALT THOU SAY IN THINE HEART, WHO HATH BEGOTTEN ME THESE, SEEING I HAVE LOST MY CHILDREN, AND AM DESOLATE, A CAPTIVE, AND REMOVING TO AND FRO? AND WHO HATH BROUGHT UP THESE? BEHOLD, I WAS LEFT ALONE; THESE, WHERE HAD THEY BEEN? A Midrash (repeated at least eight times in early Talmudic and Midrashic sources) speaks of Isaiah 49:6 as referring to the Lost Ten Tribes and their places of exile and links Isaiah 49:21 to this phenomenon and the reaction of Judah when Judah begins to realize who the present day Lost Ten Tribes are. The Midrash understands from the verse that until that time Judah will not have been aware of who their Lost Tribal brothers are!  We discussed this in "Ephraim" and additional sources that we have since been made aware of have confirmed our conclusions.

# 7 - Tarshish

  Isaiah speaks of exiled Israelites (from Ephraim and the other Tribes) returning by aeroplane and be ships from over the Atlantic Ocean:

They fly on the clouds in Aeroplanes.  When was it possible for this prophecy to be literally fulfilled before our times?

The Talmud (Baba Batra 75; b) says: <<When Israel sins somewhat, they are brought down like a fowl [flying away], as it says, AS FOR EPHRAIM, THEIR GLORY SHALL FLY AWAY LIKE A BIRD [Hosea 9:11]. When they gain merit, they are elevated like a cloud, as it says,  WHO ARE THESE THAT FLY AS A CLOUD [Isaiah 60:8].>> So we see that in at least one place the Talmud speaks of  the above verse in Isaiah (60:8) in connection to Ephraim meaning to the Lost Ten Tribes.


<SURELY THE ISLES SHALL WAIT FOR ME :> Iben Ezra Commentary: For I will give them a good reward.

THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH FIRST: Ships that plough the Atlantic Ocean bringing people back from America, Britain, and Western Europe.


  In Psalms (72; 10) "The Kings of Tarshish and of the ISLES" are mentioned together. The Aramaic Paraphrase explains that the "Isles" mentioned are those in the "Oceanic Sea" meaning those of The Atlantic Ocean according to Talmudic commentators [see "ARUCH HASHALEM" entry "Okyanus", where he says that the Okyanus was usually understood as being the Atlantic Ocean.]

The Talmud (Hullin 91b) also infers that Tarshish means the Atlantic Ocean and historically a major city-port named Tartessos and identified as Tarshish was located on the southwest coast of Spain. Tartessos-Tarshish at one stage was part of a maritime domain with probable establishments in Britain and Gaul. The Biblical expression "Ships of Tarshish" means primarily those plying the Atlantic Ocean and therefore the "ISLES" mentioned in association with Tarshish and Israelites are presumably those of Britain, America, and the coastline of Northwest Europe.

  Steven Collins informs that the great Jewish scholar, archaeologist, linguist, and author Cyrus Gordon considered the term Tarshish to apply to the American Continent.

# 8 - Seafarers

Nearly the whole of Isaiah chapter 42 is referring to Israel - especially the Lost Ten tribes as we explained in our commentary there:


Isaiah also speaks of sea-goers:


End of the earth = most Israelites dwell at the geographical extremities of the earth when Jerusalem is consider the center.

<<GO DOWN TO THE SEA>>:  Seagoers.      ISLES = islands and coastland dwellers.

This indicates that Israelites will be major sea-farers. This fits in with the promises to Israel that included. The following verse  [Isaiah 42:11] speaks of Kedar which is also linked with North America and the Ten Tribes as explained in "Ephraim" and as we will explain later in this series of Biblical Proofs.

The Lost Ten Tribes had to be a sea-faring nation or include sea-farers amongst their myriad other characteristics.  We have already noted the connection of  The Lost Ten Tribes with Tarshish and with ships plying the Atlantic Ocean.

The heathen Prophet Bilaam foresaw the might and world wide expansion of Israel in the Last Days:


<<POUR THE WATER OUT OF HIS BUCKETS>>: AGAG represented the most powerful ruler in the non-Israelite world. Israel will surpass his might. Many watersmeans the Israelites will be found in all Oceans and on every sea. They will comprise a powerful world-encompassing entity. The Lost Ten Tribes (as we shall see) were to possess the gatesof their enemies meaning valuable strategic passes and points of access of those who are actually or potentially antagonistic towards them. This on a global scale would have to include certain bases whose main value and the possibility of reaching would presuppose naval predominance.

In addition to the above we have the fact that specific tribes were also described as sea-goers.

Dan was referred to as someone who dwells in ships.

In the Hebrew it says that Dan dwelt in ships. The point about Asher can also be understood to say that Asher dwelt on his sailing boats. We will speak more on this elsewhere. In our book "Lost Israelite Identity" we have a whole chapter dedicated to the seafaring activities of the Ancient Israelites and several more chapters  that discuss aspects related to this kind of activity.

Concerning Zebulon it was prophesied:


See The Tribes: Zebulon = Holland. THE HAVEN OF THE SEAin Hebrew "Chof Yamim" meaning at the seashores or at the shore of the seas. I/3 of Holland is below sea-level, another 1/3 is subject to periodic sea-flooding, i.e. 2/3 of the country is dwelling on the shores of the sea. This is the only country in the world where this holds true. In Ancient Times a people called  Sabulingoi dwelt in the region of Northern Holland. "Sabulingoi" in  Hebrew means "People of Zebulon". Northern peoples at that time switched "s"  for "z".

However you take it taking the above verse together the impression is clear that the Lost Ten Tribes are to be scattered over several oceans and to include seafaring amongst their activities and distinguishing markers.

# 9 - RULE OVER PEOPLES

Jacob [re-named Israel] was blessed by Isaac:


<<LET PEOPLE SERVE THEE AND NATIONS BOW DOWN TO THEE>>:  Nations would bow down to them.

  Ephraim was also blessed:


<<HIS SEED SHALL BECOME A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS>>: In Hebrew "malo hagoim" or “literally the fullness of nations". Onkelos translates this as saying that his seed will rule over the nations.

  Ephraim was to become a ruler of other peoples!

The expression could also be understood to mean that other nations will be dependent upon him for their very existence.

The Lost Ten Tribes headed by Ephraim were to rule over other peoples. This is one of their signs of identification. There are related concepts to this that also imply rulership over other peoples but which will be dealt with separately. Some of these related concepts include possessing the gates (strategic points) of his enemies, being like an irresistible lion in the flock, being the major world power at the end of time and in the period leading up to it, historically possessing Egypt and India and causing slaves from Africa to cross over to you in chains where they were to become attached to you, and so on. # 10 - Be the Dominant World Power [Balak, Ephraim]:

The Lost Ten Tribes especially Joseph were to become a Dominant World Power and towards the End of Days The most Powerful Nation or National Grouping in the world.

This is evident from the implications of other identifying characteristics that we mentioned in Biblical Proof no. 9 Rule over other Peoples, etc and defeat Edom. It is also a sign in its own right.

This is described in the Prophecy of Bilaam, e.g.

AGAG represents the most powerful ruler in the non-Israelite world and Israel will surpass his might.  He will be on many waters in all Oceans and on every sea; to be a powerful world-encompassing kingdom.


Ephraim is to mighty nation which defeats all its enemies. There is hardly a nation in the world that at some stage or other was not defeated in battle by Britain and/or the USA. Again we have the symbol of the Unicorn. The Midrash (Numbers Rabah 2;7) says that the unicorn is the symbol of Manasseh. It is true that the unicorn is now part of the symbolic coat of arms of the UK but they derived it from Scotland which has two unicorns on its standard. The USA is dominated by Manasseh. Is the above verse hinting that Manasseh  (symbolized by the unicorn) would end up being the most powerful tribe?

# 11 - Military Power

This proof is part and parcel of the previous two (9. Rule over Peoples;  10. Be the Dominant World Power (Balak, Ephraim) but we have counted it separately. It adds something in the way of emphasis.


 Israel is the tool God uses to break and make nations. To the degree that this prophecy was to be fulfilled before the Messianic Era then it could only have been fulfilled by the Lost Ten Tribes. The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel could therefore only be found amongst a people or peoples who were powerful on the international scene, preferably the most powerful. This is another proof confirming our Brit-Am identifications.

# 12 - EDOM:

The Lost Ten Tribes headed by Joseph are destined to defeat Edom. Edom means the sons of Esau who dominate Germany and other portions of Europe and possibly Japan as well. To identify The Lost Ten Tribes headed by Joseph we must therefore seek a nation or group of nations that has proven itself capable of the said feat in the past. The nations of Britain and North America and their kin folk have done this. This quality (like all other identifying characteristics) has to be considered along with all other identifying characteristics that taken as a whole can only indicate one specific group of peoples.


 <<AND THEY SHALL DO IN EDOM ACCORDING TO MINE ANGER>>: Tradition says that the seed of Joseph will destroy Edom. The book of Obadiah is dedicated to this theme.

Obadiah says that the House of Joseph shall destroy the House of Esau. Rabbinical sources identified Esau with Rome and with Germany and sometimes with Europe in general. The Talmud says that only Joseph is capable of defeating Esau. The sources do not say that all the Germans are from Esau but part of them, especially amongst elite leading elements. The same sources also say that the Germans are descended from Canaanites, from Gomer, from Togarmah, from Ashkenaz, and so on. They are therefore a mixed people like most other peoples. There was however a tradition that the ruling elements of Rome and Germany were descended from Esau. Many Germans considered themselves the descendants of Roman soldiers and identified with the Roman Empire. We must look for a nation that has proven itself capable of defeating Germany and this is what Britain and the USA did do in the Second World War.

  ML: Ahavat Yehonatan: VaYishalch: <You may ask, since the House of Jacob is fire they should be able to overcome Esau alone. Why then should they need Joseph? The answer is that the power of Jacob to fight against Esau is
applicable only if Esau comes within the boundaries of Israel. In order to offensively penetrate the borders of Esau we need Joseph since the seed of Esau falls only before the children of Rachel. The intention here is to Joseph who was born outside of the Land of Israel...>

  Notes from Daat Sofrim: <Edom is not a nation of one pure constitution.  It is composed of the descendants of Esau and of the Horites who intermingled together. As a result of this foreign qualities were added to those that naturally belonged to Esau.

<The prophecy is apparently directed not only to the period when this people [Esau] dwelt in its land but also to the days when it would be assimilated amongst the peoples of the world and fulfill its great role beginning with Rome.

AND THE HOUSE OF ESAU FOR STUBBLE: Daat Sofrim emphasizes (1) All prophesies of disaster and punishment are contingent on the culprit not reforming himself BUT if he changes his ways disaster can be averted. (2) It says that The House of Edom will be made an end of, i.e. it will no longer exist as an independent recognizable unit but many individuals from Edom will survive amongst other nations.

# 13 -  Light for the Gentiles


"BEHOLD MY SERVANT  remember [Isaiah 41:8] BUT THOU, ISRAEL, ART MY SERVANT:

<<HE SHALL BRING FORTH JUDGMENT TO THE GENTILES>>: They shall judge and rule over the other nations and instruct them.

Others (such as the Malbim) say that in this case my servantrefers to the future Messiah. The passage can be understood in both senses.


   <<A COVENANT OF THE PEOPLE>>: In Hebrew Brit-Am. Israel will be a Brit-Am. In the Middle Ages Britain sometimes referred to herself as Britammia. The Welsh called themselves, Bryth y Brithan, or Briths of Brithan. In Biblical Hebrew brithmeans covenant.

The Malbim says that Brit-Am means Israel.

A LIGHT OF THE GENTILES: 

On the whole the Lost Ten Tribes have instructed and enlightened other nations.

This is also entailed in our seven criteria for determining who belongs to the Lost Ten Tribes explained in Ephraim:

1. Blessings: Economic and Physical Blessings as promised to Israel in Scripture.

2. Indications of Scripture: Biblical Evidence predicting whereto the Lost Ten Tribes would go, what type of religion and government they would have, etc.

3. Groundwork: Historical, Archaeological, and Related Proofs showing paths of migration.

4. Judah: This entails proven feelings of kinship and sympathy with the Jews and a Relative Lack of Anti-Semitism when compared with others.

5. Originality: Innovation and Intellect: A minimal degree of national Intellectual Wisdom and Honesty.

6. Bravery: Proven Military Prowess in the past at least and at present in potential

7. Empathy: The Doing of Social Justice.

Out of these criteria nos. 5 (originality) and 7 (Empathy) are the most pertinent to being a light to the Gentiles. Most innovations and real scientific progress in the present age is due to Israelite Nations  including Judah. Maybe it was always like that throughout history. A Light to the Gentilesentails the giving of knowledge and know-how but it could be
said to indicate more the doing of goodness on a national level.

Our seventh criteria was Empathy.

EMPATHY:

DOERS OF JUSTICE IMPLYING SOCIAL SYMPATHY

             "The remnant of Joseph" is called upon to hate evil and love good and establish judgment in the gate (Amos 6;15). Abraham the first Hebrew was chosen because he would bequeath to his progeny the inherited goal of keeping the way of The LORD, doing justice and judgment (Genesis 18;19).

             It is mainly in those nations identified by us as belonging to Israel are human rights willingly respected and the good of all requested for altruistic reasons. The Israelite Nations are those responsible for what genuine progress has occurred in the world concerning respect for the natural rights of man.

Britain helped civilize the world.

The USA has applied scientific advancements to keep the world from famine and disaster and apply some limitations to tyranny.

All the other Israelite Nations have also made contributions of their own. They have helped other peoples and served as examples and sources of inspiration in different fields.

Without the Israelite Nations the world would be much darker and crueler than it is.

# 14 - Separate from Judah:

These two proofs are complementary and interweave with each other and we  have chosen to treat them together.

The Lost Ten Tribes will not be part of Judah. Only in the Last days just  before or during the Messianic Era will Judah and Joseph re-unite. Until that time they will be separate.

The Lost Ten Tribes must therefore be sought for amongst an entity that is not part of Judah and not recognized by Judah. In the End Times recognition will come but it will not be easy.

Judah has prejudices and historical hang-ups to overcome and so does Joseph. A lot of dislike of Judah and wrong thoughts concerning Judah are still to be found amongst Joseph.  I deal with people from Joseph everyday and I meet every extreme. On the whole these experiences serve to strengthen our conviction of Brit-Am truth though at the same time quite a few exceptions are encountered.

In the census figures of Ezra and Nechamia none of the Ten Tribes are mentioned. Also all of the Prophets spoke of the Ten Tribes remaining separate and lostuntil he end times. Nachmanides spoke of these issues in the Book of Redemptionextracts from which were quoted in our article on Nachmanides and the Ten Tribes.

Ezekiel 37 speaks of the re-union of Judah and Joseph in the end times.

Isaiah (11:11) spoke of the future re-union of Joseph and Judah. Isaiah in this passage implies that not only will the true halves have been separate until the end times but also a certain amount of antagonism may have existed between them on occasion.



One side will not envy or vex the other AFTER the re-union. This implies that before the re-union there were occasions when elements amongst one side or the other were antagonistic to their brothers.

<<Concerning who did Isaiah pronounce this prophecy. He was speaking only concerning Judah and Joseph. S aid Rabbi Shmuel son of Nachman in the name of Rabbi Yonathan, when Joseph and Judah were arguing the Holy Angels said to each other, Let us go down and see what is happening. Usually when a bull and a lion confront each other the bull retreats before the lion. In this case a bull (Joseph) and a lion (Judah) are arguing and there is a standoff. Jealousy will continue to abide between tyhese two untilt he Messiah comes, as it says:


<<In the past Jeroboam the son of Nebat who was from Ephraim hated King  Rehoboam who was from Judah. There was a controversy between them. In the  future there will be peace between these two anointed leaders. They will  not be jealous of each other. Concerning them, it says:


<<Everywhere you find these two tribes (Judah and Joseph) hating each other and  antagonistic to each other, etc. May we infer from this that even the future Anointed Captain of War who will arise from Joseph and the Annoited Messiah who will arise from Judah will (Heaven forbid) be jealous of each other? No. There will be no antagonism between them, as it says:


  EPHRAIM represents all the Ten Tribes.

WHO HARASS JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF: Anti-Semites will be punished.

EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH: A lot of anti-Semitism is due to jealousy.

JUDAH SHALL NOT HARASS EPHRAIM: Jewish do-gooders and hyper-active individuals etc sometimes antagonize other people.

#15 - Not Known to Judah

Isaiah  49:21 speaks of the Jewish reaction when the Lost Tribes will return. Many Jews will be astounded and even perhaps slightly resentful since they will feel that Joseph at times of trouble could have been more positive.

ISAIAH AND THE RETURN OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES

The Lost Ten Tribes will  return. The Jews of Judah will meet the return of the Lost Ten Tribes with mixed reactions:


In other words, the Jews will ask where were all those now identified as Israel when the Jews needed help and were alone? According to the Midrash (Pesikta Rabati 32;10) this reaction of the Jews will take place WHEN THEY SEE THE THREE EXILES OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES RETURNING!

This reaction was also discussed in the Zohar as we described in our work 'Ephraim'.

# 16 - Large Numbers
Genesis 15:5, 22:17,  24:60, 32:12, Numbers 23:10, Isaiah 10:22, 24:16, 26:15 Hosea 1:10

It was prophesied that the Lost Ten Tribes would be extremely numerous and numbers 100s of millions or more.  We must therefore look for a group of peoples related to each other who do have such numbers as well as fulfilling all the other criteria given by the Bible.

Only the Brit-Am solution fulfills these conditions.

Abraham was promised that his seed would be extremely numerous.


Isaac married Rebecca who it was predicted would become the mother of alfei revava or thousands of ten thousands (Genesis 24:60), translated as thousands of millionsby the King James.


Isaac was to be the ancestor of innumerable descendants.


The Israelites will be so numerous that they cannot be counted:


The Lost Ten Tribes at the end times will number an enormous number of people.

We saw how the Jews of Judah will be astounded at the numbers of Lost Israelites who will return even though they were not previously known to belong to Israel:


YIsaiah predicted that in the Last days only a few would survive and that disasters would occur:


<<BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA>>: Descendants of Israel will be exceedingly numerous towards the end times.

             Isaiah says that the nation will be increased greatly and be removed unto the ends of the earth (Isaiah 24:16, 26:15) meaning the geographical extremities of the world such as Britain, North America, Scandinavia, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Hosea also said that the Children of Israel will be innumerable:


When you take everything all together and consider who we belief the Lost Ten Tribes to be today and their present numbers and compare them with that which was prophesied: Instead of asking how can them be so many? One could well ask, Where are the rest?

Brit-Am supporter, Colbert Brian, pointed out that an indicated number concerning the Israelites in the future could have been Six Hundred Million Males Plus Their Families!


             At that time they numbered more than 600,000 males who went out to war. A thousand times 600,000 makes 600 million males on to which must be added females and children under the age of twenty and men over the age of 60.

We have not yet necessarily reached these numbers but will do so in the future.

The possibility of demographic disaster.

If our peoples do not repent however there is the chance that our numbers be greatly reduced prior to the day of Deliverance.


This indicates that towards the Last Days the Israelites will be exceedingly numerous but something could happen so that only a relatively few remain.


This could mean several things: It could be that only a minority will return. Zechariah 13;8 indicates that there will be some kind of calamity and that only a third will survive:  AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT IN ALL THE LAND, SAITH THE LORD, TWO PARTS THEREIN SHALL BE CUT OFF AND DIE; BUT THE THIRD SHALL BE LEFT THEREIN [Zechariah 13:8].  It could mean something else. Jeremiah is speaking of a return to Zion. Zion according to the simple meaning is another term for Jerusalem meaning Judah in the religious sense. It could be that a relatively small portion (ONE OF A CITY, AND TWO OF A FAMILY) will be called upon to return in the religious sense prior to the Messianic Era.


Ezekiel is referring to the fate of Jerusalem on the simple level. One third destroyed within the city, another third in the area around about, and the last third scattered and exiled. A similar use of dividing into threes concerning a coming calamity was found in Zechariah.


The general explanation suggested is that some calamity will occur. Two-thirds of the worlds people (including, by implication, two-thirds of the Israelites?) will perish. Part of the remaining third of non-Israelites and Israelites by descent will then accept the faith of Israel and identify as Israelites BUT then will come the troubles of Gog and Magog. There will be persecutions and the threat of extinction. Most of the non-Israelites who accepted the Israelite faith will back out and it will be mainly those of Israelite descent who remain attached to Israelite religion.

After all that, no matter what happens our numbers will increase again.

# 17 - The West:

The Lost Ten Tribes in the End Time will be mainly situated to the west of the Land of Israel.

The exiles would be taken to the west (Isaiah 24:14).


FROM THE SEA: In Hebrew also meaning from the west. The Aramaic and Commentators say it means the exiles will be in the west in the last Days. Then it goes on to speak of Britain.


Isaiah says (49:8) that the exiled of Israel will be preserved and become a covenant of people (in Hebrew a Brit-Am), who will establish the world and inherit wasted heritages. They will use released prisoners to colonize these heritages (49:9), as the British did at first in North America and Australia. They shall return from the north and from the west, and from the
land of Sinim, meaning Australia:


Midrashim confirm that these verses are referring to the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.

The Exiles will return from the west (Hosea 11:10).


<<THE CHILDREN SHALL TREMBLE FROM THE WEST>>: Commentators (such as the Aramaic Translation) say that this refers to the exiles of Israel  returning from the west.


<<A DOVE OUT OF THE LAND OF ASSYRIA>>: These are the Ten Tribes (Shir HaSHirim Rabah 1:63)

# 18 - Northwest from the land of Israel:

Isaiah says (49:8) that the exiled of Israel will be preserved and become a covenant of people (in Hebrew a Brit-Am), who will establish the world and inherit wasted heritages. They will use released prisoners to colonize these heritages (49:9), as the British did at first in North America and Australia. They shall return from the north and from the west, and from the land of Sinim.


<<THE NORTH AND FROM THE WEST>>: This presupposes North-West from the Land of Israel. We have seen (Biblical Proof no. 17) that they would return from the West. Other verses show they will come from the North. The main directions are north, northwest, and west.  Australia (Sinim) is in the southeast.

# 19 - The North Country:

The Lost Ten Tribes will also return from the North which is a major center of theirs. Barry Fell claimed that the Phoenicians referred to North America as the Great North Land. The Phoenicians at one stage included members of Ancient Israelite Tribes in their ranks.

Jeremiah at one level is speaking of the situation in his own time. The Israelite Exiles as part of the Scythian forces did succeed in breaking the yoke of the Assyrian Empire and providing assistance to Judah under King Josiah the son of Amon. On another level Jeremiah is referring to the Messianic Era and the period leading up to it: Meaning (it would seem) our own time. The task of Judah was to keep the Law and to develop it. Judah did this but perhaps not as well and as fully as it should have.

The task of Israel (The Lost Ten Tribes) was that of a nation: they were to reform the Gentile peoples from within and elevate them; to establish a sense of justice and order in the world; to help others; to set up governmental systems and social values that would serves as examples to others; they were also supposed to protect Judah and assist Judah to return to the Land of Canaan and set up the State of Israel therein. All of these tasks were basically achieved to a degree. They are also judged according to the surroundings and jumping-off point they were started off upon.

<<THE NORTH>>: Most of the Lost Ten Tribes are in the North when the Land of Israel is taken as the reference point. They are being called upon to repent.

The Lost Ten Tribes relatively speaking may have fulfilled at least part of the task that was laid upon them but they are still lacking. They must repent of their idolatry.

<<ZION>>: Represents Jerusalem: Initially a token number will be pioneers and return to re-unite with Judah. Later the majority will follow and inherit their own territories in the Middle East and region.

The Midrash says:
Behold thou art fair, my love, yea pleasant, also our bed is green (Song of Solomon 1;16). Israel says: Behold thou art fair, my love When you will take retribution from the worshippers of idols. Yea pleasant when you pay the reward of those who fear you. Also our bed: These are the Ten Tribes. [In Hebrew bed is eres while ten is eser and uses the same letters, and our bed (erseynu) sounds like our ten (esereynu).] They are those who were exiled beyond the Sambation River. The exiles of Judah and Benyamin [i.e. the present-day Jews] are destined to go unto them and bring them back in order to merit with them the Messianic Era and life in the World-To-Come. This is as it says, In those days the house of Judah shall go unto the house of Israel and they shall come together out of the land of the north unto the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers (Jeremiah 3;18). -Yalkut Shimeoni, Song of Solomon 905.

The verse should be read according to the above as: THE HOUSE OF JUDAH SHALL GO UNTO [rather than WALK WITH] THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.  People from Judah and Benjamin (i.e. legal Jews) shall go unto the Lost Ten Tribes who are beyond the Sambation River. In our works (Ephraim and the Tribes) we explained that the Sambation River means Israelite Exiles who migrated to the west. The simple meaning is that Jews from Judah will go unto the Lost Tribes to bring them back. It could be said that the Jewish members of Brit-Am Israel is doing this to some degree.

There is an additional explanation.

Captive Jews
Since beginning this project and making contact with numerous people who are interested in the subject and studying it we have noticed an interesting phenomenon. Many non-Jews (Gentiles) who agree with us that the Lost Ten Tribes are in the West and feel an inner urge to learn this message and in some cases help spread it also believe they have Jewish origins. Sometimes this belief of Jewish origins is based on known facts concerning one or other of their ancestors.  In other cases the feeling of Jewish origins is based on flimsy evidence but nevertheless the feeling exists. Such feelings do not appear from nowhere and probably derive from an inner awareness of their true ancestry. The people in question are often those who are now helping spread knowledge and attitudes that will lead to the Return of the Lost Ten Tribes. The role of these people in future will increase. These Lost Jews are also fulfilling the Prophecy of Jeremiah  (3:18). They have gone out from Judah to Israel and they are beginning to bring Israel back from the Land of the North. We refer to these people as Captive Jews though Lost Jews may be more appropriate. We used the term Captive Jews (rather than Assimilated Jews or something similar) since in many cases Jews were forced or heavily pressured to change their religion and cease being Jewish against their will. Descendants of these Lost Jews or Captive Jews are often the leaders who are bringing their fellow Captive Jews as well as the Lost Tribes back to their source.


<<I AM A FATHER TO ISRAEL, AND EPHRAIM IS MY FIRSTBORN>>: God will return and acknowledge the Lost Ten Tribes as His people alongside Judah. This will be known to all. The Lost Ten Tribes will no longer be lost. At present they are Lost: Most of them are not aware of their true Israelite identity and this identity is not known to others.
<<God says to Israel, You are my sons and I am your father, as it says:


  Notice the linkage of North Country, coasts of the earth, Israel, Ephraim, and "Isles afar off".

# 20 Agriculture Plenty

Jacob was promised a healthy climate, agricultural plenty and mineral riches (Genesis 27:28). These blessing were  repeated in the blessing to Joseph (Genesis 49:25).


Agricultural plenty and great blessings.


<<BLESSINGS OF HEAVEN ABOVE>>: climate and agriculture. BLESSINGS OF THE DEEP: Water and mineral resources.
THE BREASTS, AND OF THE WOMB: Health and fertility and bounty from the Almighty.

 In the Blessing of Moses (Deuteronomy chapter 33) tells us that Joseph will be blessed with agricultural plenty and mineral resources (33:15-16):


This says that Joseph was blessed with agricultural prosperity, healthy lands, and mineral resources in plenty.


Some plants need a set number of hours of both daylight and darkness. Certain plants require moonlight.


Food products and Mineral resources.


<<PRECIOUS THINGS OF THE EARTH>>: agricultural plenty.  <<THAT WAS SEPARATED FROM HIS BRETHREN>>:  Joseph was apart from his brothers and still dwells apart from them in physically separated areas.

Hoshea also says that the Lost Ten Tribes un their place of exile, as well as being extremely numerous shall enjoy great agricultural bounty and other material blessings:


Nations we identify as having the Lost Tribes amongst them produce nearly all of the worlds agricultural surpluses: Beef, sheep (mutton and wool), wheat, maize, cotton, sugar, wine (France, USA, Australia, South Africa, Israel), fruits, vegetables, etc. Lands of Joseph are especially prominent in this regard and Joseph was bequeathed a double portion.

# 21 - MINERAL RESOURCES

This is linked with Biblical Proofs no. 20: Agricultural Plenty since where agricultural blessings are recalled so too are mineral resources.

<<BLESSINGS OF THE DEEP>>: Water and mineral resources.

This says that Joseph was blessed with agricultural prosperity, healthy lands, and mineral resources in plenty.

Food products and Mineral resources: North America and Australia are very rich in mineral resources, as is South Africa.

Britain in ancient times was the chief source of tin for the world. Tin was needed in the production of bronze which was the major metal then in use. Britain also was historically important in the production of silver, lead, gold (from Ireland), and nowadays has oil resources in the North Sea area together with Norway. Scandinavia produced amber which in ancient times was more valued than gold.

Major other underground products such as petroleum though not always in Lost Ten Tribes countries are nevertheless frequently to a significant degree under their de facto control.

# 22 Australia

Britain, North America, and Australia

Isaiah says (49:8) that the exiled of Israel will be preserved and become a covenant of people (in Hebrew 'a Brit-Am'), who will establish the world and inherit wasted heritages. They will use released prisoners to colonize these heritages (49:9), as the British did at first in North America and Australia. They shall return from the north and from the west, and from the land of Sinim. That this passage is referring to the Lost Ten Tribes is confirmed by the Talmud and midrashim.

The Midrash Speaks of Isaiah and the Ten Tribes

The Rabbis (Numbers Rabah 1;6, Eichah Rabah 2;9, Jerusalemi Sanhedrin ch.17, L.6,29) agreed that Isaiah 49 was referring to the Lost Ten Tribes. They quoted Isaiah 40 and said that there were three major areas to which the Lost Ten Tribes went: One to beyond the Sambation River, one to Daphneh of Antiochia, and one to where the Clouds came down and covered them.

Sinim is interpreted to mean Land of the Southin the Aramaic Translation. In the Vulgate Latin version of the Bible which was translated by Jerome after consulting with Jewish sages, the Land of Sinim is rendered as Australia. The term Australiain Latin means Land of the South. The Egyptians referred to the southernmost known area of land as sin-wur. This corresponds to the Land of Sinim meaning Australia. There are reports of Egyptian and Phoenician remains being found in Australia. Craig White in his book (In Search of &The Origin of Nations) has an interesting chapter discussing the possibility that the Australian Aborigines originally came from Egypt and then branched out some going to South America, others to India (the Veddic peoples) and Australia. [White's suggestions that some aborigines went to South America has just been confirmed by archaeological finds of an ancient population with skeletons similar to those of the Australian aborigines in Baju Province, Mexico.] At all events one of the most famous and most admired (in Australia) Australian Prime Ministers was Billy Hughes who believed that British-related peoples descended from the Ten Tribes of Israel. Australian and New Zealand Troops liberated the Holy Land in the First World War.

Another sign concerning the Lost Ten Tribes is that they should be at the ends of the earth(see Biblical Proofs: no.1). Australia and New Zealand are about as much at the end of the earth (when considered with the Land of Israel as the center) as you can get. Australian and New Zealand also fulfill most of the other criteria and proofs we adduce.

# 23 - Best Places

The Lost Ten Tribes will be in islands (Isaiah 41:1), in the best places (translated in the KJ as chief men), at the ends of the earth meaning geographical extremities (41:8-9).


  THE CHIEF MEN THEREOFin Hebrew Atsiliah. Atselmeans height, noble, nobility, quality. The expression can preferably be tranlsated as the best (or most noble) places thereof.

I once saw a book for professional scribes. Amongst the subjects discussed in this work were parchments made out of animal skins. Torah scrolls, mezuzahs, and the like are written on animal parchment. The parchment needs to be of good quality to enable writing. The best cowhides, the book said, come from North America due to the climate and environment of that area. It quoted a Talmudic verse saying that some places are more blessed than others.

All those areas where the Lost Ten Tribes now populate are naturally blessed regions when compared to the rest of world. North America, the British Isles, Scandinavia, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa have all blessed physically in so far as they are full of natural resources, relatively free from diseases and plague, and have
envigorating climates on the whole. In Australia there is a problem of skin cancer due to the plentiful sunshine but from other considerations the environment is an inspiring and joyful one.

Even Scandinavia which is often considered a cold forbidding area is actually a healthy blessed region, as the following quotations (from the Cybalist Linguistic list) confirm):

<< People tend to think of Scandinavia as a frozen wasteland, but in fact it's not; the winters are less severe than Russia's. In Norway, you also have stupendous fishery resources (Atlantic salmon, among others) which tend to be ignored in the literature. While you had to work hard in the midnight sun of summer to ensure you kept warm in the winter, a virgin, relatively thinly-populated Scandinavia can almost be thought of as paradisical.

<<The main problem with living in these parts is: How do stay alive in the winter? You can keep out the cold by proper housing and clothing but what would you eat? Since Nature provides nothing in those months (except for ice fishing, brrrr) survival hinges on technologies to preserve food. One method is to keep farm animals and slaughter them in winter.
Another is to keep durable stuff about, like cereals (no, not cornflakes). But you could also salt or smoke fish. (Lower) Saxony, the old home of the Saxons has the salt mines at Lüneburg. Denmark and Scania had the fishing in the Sound. Until the 16th century herring would leave the Baltic at certain seasons, and, according to some chroniclers, in such numbers that you could place a spear in the water and it would stand upright. In the late middle ages this was the basis of Danish wealth: Sound herrings, bought and salted by the Hanse Merchants on the markets in Skanör and Falsterbo.
Standard history will tell you that the importance of this export was due to Catholics eating fish during fast; personally I think they constituted a large part of food produced in Denmark then.>> Torsten

# 24 - Baal Worship and Notsrim

They shall worship the Baal  (Hosea 2:8, 2:13, 2:16) like the Celts in Britain and Gaul once did. Baal was a god who died and was resurrected.  They shall mistake Baal for the God of Israel (Hosea 2:16).

 "EPHRAIM COMPASSETH ME ABOUT WITH LIES, AND THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL WITH DECEIT: BUT JUDAH YET RULETH WITH GOD, AND IS FAITHFUL WITH THE SAINTS."

They shall be called "Notsrim" in Hebrew. This term later came to be applied to Christianity and from the beginning had religious connotations.

In our book "Ephraim" we spoke of this point at length. We probably made a mistake in speaking too bluntly and in mixing known fact with speculation.  We should not have needlessly given cause for offence.Most of our supporters and many of our friends are Christians. We consider (in line with Maimonides concerning Christianity and Islam in  general) that Christianity is a tool of Divine Providence through which the gentiles will become more acquainted
with Biblical Truth.

Specifically it is the means by which most of the Lost Ten Tribes will first become acquainted with their Israelite Identity and its significance. As such Christianity is our ally and not our adversary. A good portion of those Christians who support emphasize the Hebrew roots  of their religion while recognizing the paganism that has been adopted by mainstream Christianity.

At all events the point is that the Lost Ten Tribes must be sought for amongst Christian nations.They are not amongst the Jews, neither are they muslims, or pagans. They must be sought for amongst those Christian nations that emphasize
Biblical truth. Whether one agrees with us or not on religious matters this claim of ours  has Biblical and historical substance and is an additional powerful  proof when impressing  "Judah" as  to who the Lost Ten Tribes are and where they are to be found at present.

The Lost Ten Tribes were exiled for their sins. Their offenses included the worship of the pagan god "baal":


<<AND SERVED BAAL>>: baal worship was one of their distinguishing characteristics.  The Israelite "Celts" in Britain also worshipped the baal as we have noted several times.

<<Baal. The worship of fire is associated with both Baal and Moloch in ancient times. There is the familiar story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal in I Kings 18. An idea of the extent of Baal worship is found in Ireland. Abundant traces are preserved to this day in place names and in dedications of ancient temples to Baal. The tradition remains at Glendalough, County Wicklow, Ireland, that in ancient times the heathen priest used to ascend the fine round stone tower, now restored, and at sunrise called aloud the name of Baal four times, once from each of the four openings at the summit of the tower which face the cardinal points of the compass. Baal worship is believed to have continued until the time of St. Patrick. There are many remnants of old fire worship and sacrifice of children to Moloch in Scotland. Only a century ago on an estate in Scotland it was the practice of peasants on May Day to gather round a fire and throw their children across from one to another through the fire. Other similar descriptions come from Devonshire and in Ireland at fires called Beltina, or Baal fires. Beltane is the name of the first of May in Scotland which even now commemorates the ancient name of Bel (Victoria Institute, 44:125; 6:267; 27:185-186). >>

# 25 - FIRES IN THE ISLES:

<<FROM THE SEA>>: In Hebrew, Me-Yam, also meaning 'from the west'. The Aramaic Translation and Rabbinical Commentators say it means THE EXILES WILL BE IN THE WEST IN THE LAST DAYS! Then it goes on to speak of Britain.


  Piotr Gasiorowski: <<I think the tradition of erecting hilltop cairns and mounds as orientation marks, and of using beacon fires for long-distance communication was very strong in Celtic (also Roman) Britain; the landscape of much of the country is as suitable for this purpose as could be. One trace of that is the occurrence of the Brythonic element tan - 'fire' (Welsh tan) in hill names (there are many Tan Hills in England). -- not only in ancient times but all through history down to the invention of the telegraph. For example, a network of beacons set up on hilltops was used in England in 1588 to signal the approach of the Spanish Armada, and once it was spotted off the Scillies the news reached the English commanders in no time at all.>>

<<"The Chronicles of Eri, being the history of the Gaal Sciot Iber, or the Irish People, translated from the Phoenician dialect of the Scythian language" by Roger O' Connor, were published in London in two volumes in 1822. It is not certain what sources this work is based upon but internal evidence indicates that it derived from similar ancient traditions as those known elsewhere from Irish sources. The Irish had Oral traditions, written Chronicles of their own, and also were privy to Early Medieval scholarship that developed from Latin records and much of which was genuine and most of which has been lost.  They also had oral traditions and there were individuals who would consider it a privilege, and duty, to commit to memory the traditions of their region. The Chronicles of Eri do not expressly say that their ancestors were Hebraic but they talk around the subject so that Hebrew origins are the logical conclusion to be drawn even though such may not have been the intention of the editor or "translator" who attempts to date the described events long before the time of Israelite exile.

<<The Chronicle says that the Gaali had been in Armenia, and the Caucasus. They were traders and metallurgists, and archers. Oppressed by the Assyrians they fled via Hamath in northern Syria [-Which incidentally was known later as "Daphne of Antiochia" and was considered one of three regions through which the Lost Ten Tribes were taken into exile, according to the M Midrash. The Jewish historian Nahum Slouschz (1909) regarded the Exile of Daphne of Antiochea to represent those Israelites who were associated with the Phoenicians].

The Chronicles tells how the Gaali sail to Spain which was then ruled by the Phoenicians who in turn were directed from (Assyrian-controlled?) Hamath. In Spain at first they are forced to work for Phoenician overseers. They move from the southern area of Tartessos to Galatia in the northwest and shake off Phoenician control. Together with the Phoenicians from their base in Spain they establish mining operations in Cornwall, in Britain. Some of them move to Aquitaine in Gaul. Due to war and famine, those in Spanish Galatia all eventually immigrate to Ireland. Though not Phoenicians they worship God under the form of Baal, receive instruction in Phoenician ways, bear Hebrew-sounding names and seem to have Israelite-values such as an aversion to images and other characteristics.

These people (the Gaal of Sciot) had the custom of lighting beacon fires on the coasts.

"All the headlands and promontories belonging to the Gaal of Sciot on the northwest coast of Spain  were called in the Phoenician language Breoccean, that is, The Land of Flaming Fires, because of the blaze that was kept up and could be seen at a great distance out to sea. The same custom was observed on the coast of Cornwall and Devonshire after the Gaal of Sciot joined with the Phoenicians in their mining operations there, and that land was called Breotan, Breo meaning Flaming Fire" [cf. "BIAR" = burn in Hebrew].

  # 26 - Gates of Your Enemies

Abraham was told that his seed would inherit the gate of his enemies:


<<BY MYSELF HAVE I SWORN>>: by Myself  God is eternal and so is the promise. The promise was now made UNCONDITIONAL and IRREVOCABLE. It had to be fulfilled as in part it has been.


  <<THE GATE OF HIS ENEMIES>>: Abraham was promised that his descendants would control strategic points giving him an edge over actual and potential adversaries.

THE GATE OF THOSE WHO HATE THEM

The son of Abraham was Isaac.

Isaac married Rebecca who it was predicted would become the mother of 'alfei revava' or thousands of ten thousands (24:60) and that her seed would possess the gate of those who hate them(24:60).


These prophecies meant that the promised seed would possess international thoroughfares and vantage points of strategic importance as the USA and Britain (and only they) have done. Obtaining bases and control over international strategic points is still a fundamental part of American and British foreign policy and military strategy. They are unique in this matter.

GATE OF YOUR ENEMIES

Abraham had been promised that his seed would possess the gate of his enemies and Rebecca likewise was promised that her seed would possess the gate of those that hate them. The promise to possess the gate of enemies refers to the possession of strategic points that allow access to or control over thoroughfares of supply or the interior of a country or something similar. This is how Rabbinical Commentators understood it, for instance it was said that the blessing was partially fulfilled in the time of Solomon by Solomon building the city of Tadmor in Northern Syria. Possession of Tadmor enabled Solomon to control the passage of caravans bearing merchandise and traveling along caravan-routes through the desert.  At that time the spice trade between the Far East, India, and the West was very important and it was conducted via the desert routes.

In the past Britain and the USA controlled every important international strait and thoroughfares: Examples are Hong Kong, Singapore, Gibraltar, Falklands, Panama, Philippines, The Suez Canal, Malta, Heligoland, Cyprus, etc.- Everywhere where there was a strategic point of international importance it was in every case under official or at least de facto British or American control.

Even now many of these places are still controlled by the USA or Britain. The USA has bases all over the world. The USA does not always publicize the existence of these bases but they are known about. The host countries to whom these bases technically belong have only limited control over them. They cannot just tell the USA to leave. In some cases the host countries are open enemies of the USA and in others they are potential enemies. Even so, they have no real say on a day-to-day basis concerning what the USA does or does not do with these bases, and on them.

The USA has the Wheeler Air Base in Libya, it has a base in Cuba, it has bases in Japan, bases in islands off Japan, in the Pacific Ocean, in the Indian Ocean, in every Sea and in every Ocean, in Greenland, in Saudia Arabia, in the Persian Gulf, in northern Iraq (i.e. Kurdistan); It has all kinds of facilities of strategic importance all over the world, not all of which are publicized.

The host nations (as we said) in which these bases are located are often Americas enemies but they still can do little concerning what America does in these bases. They cannot get America out though these bases potentially allow America access to their vital points. In other words they allow America access. They allow America, if necessary, to come in. They are gates. They are the gate of your enemiesthat was promised to the Chosen People and these promises have been fulfilled through Britain and America.

America and Britain are the only countries who have rights of this type on such an international scale and they are the only nations where these arrangements have become a natural integrated part of foreign and military policy.

In the past Britain ruled the wavesand all the major Sea-lanes and Sea passes were under Britains or the USAs control. Nowadays sea-movement is less important than it used to be. Nevertheless, Space is important. The USA has control of Space. It has Satellites and Missiles and a Space-orientated -infrastructure that allows it access by satellite to most places of the world: -for the purposes of attack or at least of surveillance. Through its satellites the USA (if it so wishes) can take very-close-up photographs of a lot of areas. In some cases, not only can they see soldiers marching below but they can even discern what signs-of-rank the soldiers filmed bear on their shoulders.

In other words the USA has gates - meaning avenues of entry. It has means of access to all of its actual and potential enemies. The possession of these gates (of option of entry into these areas) does not guarantee victory in War but it is an advantage. Other countries have got space-programs of their own but none of them so far have achieved anything like the USA. -Not that they are less gifted. It just was not there. They lacked the resources and inclination at the right time. Even when they become powerful other nations rely on other means of influence, defence, or coercion.

The principle of possessing a gate or potential point of access to a strategic position is not applied by other nations. It is not part of their traditional Strategic Orientation, Military, or Foreign Policy. Other nations had Empires and globe-encompassing policies. Examples include the Ottoman Turks, Russia, Germany, France, etc. These were all great and formidable powers. None of them applied the principle of possessing gateson a large scale and first preference as part of their overseas policy. This principle however is and always has been an integral aspect of the very pattern of thinking in British and American orientation. It was always that way. The Blessing to possess the gates of your enemieswas pertinent to the British and Americans and was not applicable to other nations.

Another aspect of gates of your enemies is access to information and intelligence concerning the intentions of real and potential adversaries. In the First and Second World Wars it will remain a matter of debate amongst military historians as to whether or not the military abilities of the Allies were relatively superior (both sides made terrible mistakes) or whether their ultimate victory was due to chance, i.e. direct Divine intervention. At all events it would be generally agreed that the Allied Intelligence services were superior and much more successful. The allies had much better results when it came to knowing enemy movements, (e.g. the use of Radar), the breaking of enemy codes, divining the intentions of the enemy, and deceiving the enemy as to ones own intentions.

Stephen J. Spykerman in an article (A RULER OF NATIONS) in our magazine Brit-Am Truth no.7 reports:

<<Another telling example of the kinship between America, Great Britain and her Commonwealth partners Canada, Australia and New Zealand, is their joint involvement in ECHELON,the global spy satellite system. ECHELON is a secret worldwide intelligence-gathering operation, and it is the greatest surveillance network the world has ever seen. The US National Security Agency (NSA), has created a global spy system, code named ECHELON, which is able to intercept and analyse virtually every phone call, fax, email and telex message sent anywhere in the world. The interesting point is that the USA, in seeking allies for this project, has not sought the assistance of nations such as France, Germany or Japan, but has instead enlisted the aid of Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Thus it seems as if almost by instinct, the modern day descendants of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, in matters concerning their national security, are only prepared to trust the members of their own family. We must not forget that Canada, Australia and New Zealand share the Ephraim roots of Great Britain, and that they too are the sons of Joseph. ECHELON is controlled by the NSA and is operated in conjunction with the UK Government Communications Head Quarters (GCHQ) in Cheltenham, England, the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) of Canada, the Australian Defence Security Directorate (DSD), and the General Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) of New Zealand. These national security organisations are bound together under a secret agreement they entered into in 1948 in the aftermath of the Second World War. Their signals intelligence has proved invaluable in countering and eventually defeating the Soviet Union during the Cold War. The current focus of the system is the War against Global Terrorism, with the threat coming from fundamentalist Islamic terrorist organisations and countries such as Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Sudan and Libya.>>

It should be pointed out that Israeli Intelligence is also quite good and the USA would be better off if it both encouraged and relied more upon it and overlooked any indiscretionsit might commit.

<<LET THY SEED POSSESS THE GATE OF THOSE WHICH HATE THEM>>: This blessing was mentioned above in Genesis 22:17 where it speaks of possessing The gate of his enemies. This means strategic thoroughfares such as Panama, Gibraltar, Falklands, Suez, Malta, etc. In the past Britain controlled nearly all the major international thoroughfares and strategic points. In 1890 strategic gatesowned by Britain included Malta, Gibraltar, Aden, Heligoland (off the German coast), the Cape of Good Hope (South Africa), Hong Kong, Malaya, Singapore, India, New Zealand, Canada. To this list can be added numerous other strategic points that were subsequently obtained. The USA followed the same strategy as Britain. Major gates once owned by the USA include the Panama Canal and the Philippine Islands and numerous island bases throughout the world. Between Britain and the USA every single major strategic international by-pass was at some time or other under their control. Even now, the USA has numerous strategically located overseas bases all over the world that it can employ to penetrate the territory of potential enemies.

An article in Counter Punch of  February 2, 2002 by Zoltan Grossman (New US Military Bases: Side Effects or Causes of War?) described the US practice of acquiring the gate of his enemies:

<Since the end of the Cold War a decade ago, the U.S. has gone to war in Iraq, Somalia, Yugoslavia, and Afghanistan & Since 1990, each large-scale U.S. intervention has left behind a string of new U.S. military bases in a region where the U.S. had never before had a foothold. The U.S. military is inserting itself into strategic areas of the world, and anchoring U.S. geopolitical influence in these areas, at a very critical time in history.

Wars for Bases.

<As each intervention was being planned, planners focused on building new U.S. military installations, or securing basing rights at foreign facilities, in order to support the coming war. But after the war ended, the U.S. forces did not withdraw, but stayed behind & The new U.S. military bases were not merely built to aid the interventions, but the interventions also conveniently afforded an opportunity to station the bases.

<Indeed, the establishment of new bases may in the long run be more critical to U.S. war planners than the wars themselves, as well as to enemies of the U.S. &This is not to say that all U.S. wars of the past decade have been the result of some coordinated conspiracy to make Americans the overlords of the belt between Bosnia and Pakistan. But it is to recast the interventions as opportunistic responses to events, which have enabled Washington to gain a foothold in the middle ground between Europe to the west, Russia to the north, and China to the east, and turn this region increasingly into an American sphere of influence.The series of interventions have also virtually secured U.S. corporate control over the oil supplies for both Europe and East Asia. It's not a conspiracy; it's just business as usual. >>

The above article in effect says that the acquirement of control over the gates of your enemies  is a major factor of US policy or at all events an outcome of this policy almost forced upon the USA by circumstance. This is both a fulfillment of the blessings to the seed of Abraham and Also an identifying characteristic.

According to official reports for the year 2002: The USA has major bases in Germany designed to support forces throughout Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean. The USA has bases in Hungary, Bosnia, Panama, in Saudi Arabia, in Northern Iraq, in Central Asia, in Guam in the Western Pacific, in Iceland, Italy, Spain, Libya, Cuba, Turkey, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, and elsewhere. American fleets and aircraft carriers patrol the worlds oceans ever-ready to strike anywhere necessary.

 By way of illustration, an official description of just a section of  the USA dispositions says that : <The US Pacific Fleet includes approximately 200 ships, 2,000 aircraft, and 250,000 Sailors and Marines and covers more than 50% of the earth's surface, just over 100 million square miles. Each day, Pacific Fleet ships are at sea in the Pacific, Indian, and Arctic Oceans, from the west coast of the U.S. to the Arabian Gulf.>

 The USA bases and dispositions are coordinated with those of Britain and in many ways the two powers supplement each other everywhere. The USA military is also coordinated in many ways with that of the State of Israel which provides a back-up anchorage in the Middle East linking Asia, Africa, and Europe.  The State of Israel through its research abilities and industrial feedback also helps ensure that USA armaments will be the best that exist.

On 11th September, 2001, the Twin Towers in New York were blown up by two terrorist-captured planes manned mostly by Saudi Arabians crashing into them and the subsequent loss of much life and property.  As a result the USA and Britain attacked the ruling powers of Afghanistan who had backed the attack. A consequence of this war was described by Leonid Shebarshin in a Russian intelligence-linked weekly named Zavtra (14th September, 2002):

<The U.S. made a demonstration of its power in Afghanistan. She overwhelmed the Taliban, put in her chosen Prime Minister, gave him 72 bodyguards, established an island of stability. Already, people are talking about a U.S. presence in Afghanistan of 5-10 years, and maybe longer. Another important result: the Americans used Afghanistan to take over the positions of the former Soviet Union in Central Asia. They got very good bases in Kirgistan, bases in Tadjikistan, agreements with Uzbekistan, pressure on Kazakhstan. I think we are looking at preparations for a serious confrontation with China, which is turning into a strategic issue. We are seeing the same approach with China, as earlier with the Soviet Union... China is already surrounded by a whole chain of major military bases, in Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the taking over of the former Russian base in Vietnam, the base in Okinawa; plus, Russia is being drawn into the NATO structure. .. This is the more long-term perspective.>

 According to the above report, the USA and Britain had established gatesgiving a strategic advantage, if ever needed, against Russia, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and every other potential power in Asia.

The American Space Program to a degree serves the same purpose of acquiring gates since the USA is enabled to oversee the activities of its enemies and to a degree eventually target them if necessary from outer space.

This practice of acquiring the GATES of potential adversaries, of THOSE WHICH HATE THEM, was always a fundamental pillar of American and British foreign and military policy. It was and still is unique to them and they succeeded in it. Britain and America received the blessings of Israel. Their populations MUST comprise the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.
