Hi allTainat (near the former town of Alalkh) was called Pattin or possibly Hattin. Later it was called by a name that was first translated as Wadasatini, then Padasatini. Apparently, at the 2008 ICAANE, Hawkins has modified this further to Palastin(i) (Kohlmeyer in D. Bonatz et al (eds), Fundstellen ... Kuhne, Wiesbaden 2008, p.124, final note).

Before reading Yair Davidiy's site I investigated a site with frequent quotes of Arthur Koestler, who of course wrote the book "The Thirteenth Tribe". While I am in agreement with the assesment of Davidiy's work (in contrast with Koestler's) I am wondering your position regarding the Koestler assertion that the Rothschild family was primarily instrumental in the formation of the present State of Israel.
Also I wonder if, as stated, the Jewish spiritual leaders today do NOT regard its formation as a fulfilment of biblical prophecy.
