1. Opening Cry: Ephraim needs Judah!
Ephraim needs a Jewish Judah and not a Christian One.
Judah also needs Ephraim very badly.
Judah needs an Ephraim that will accept him as he is made to be and not something made over in the image of Ephraim.
What will happen in the time of the Messiah is a different story but we have not gotten there yet.
Remember  the massage of Pelagius the early British Christian "heretic" that is still pertinent in our time.
http://www.britam.org/traditions18.html

Brit-Am is going through a crisis.
Judah is passing through a crisis.
Joseph is in the midst of a crisis and the "Ephraimites" may be on the verge of making a terrible mistake by
rejecting "Judah" as a Jew.
Joseph needs Judah to recognize him as a brother who in turn acknowledges the identity of Judah.

The Crisis of Judah
Judah needs Joseph very badly but will not see him if he is disguised in the form of something threatening to destroy
or pervert his Judaism.

The Crisis of Joseph
"Ephraim" needs to be recognized by his own people and by Judah.

Brit-Am may not have all the answers but Brit-Am does show a way through to the light.
That is a beginning and a beginning is what we need.

(1) Allen Ramsay: Verses of Note Pertinent to the Above Message
Hello Yair,

Just a few verses that I have been meditating on this morning and giving the Lord living faith that He will accomplish that to which He has purposed.
- Al

Isaiah 11:11 And it hath come to pass, in that day, The Lord addeth a second time his power, To get the remnant of His people that is left, From Asshur, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Cush, And from Elam, and from Shinar, And from Hamath, and from isles of the sea,
12 And He hath lifted up an ensign to nations, And gathereth the driven away of Israel, And the scattered of Judah He assembleth, From the four wings of the earth.
13 And turned aside hath the envy of Ephraim, And the adversaries of Judah are cut off, Ephraim doth not envy Judah, And Judah doth not distress Ephraim.
----
Zechariah 8:13 And it hath come to pass, As ye have been a reviling among nations, O house of Judah, and house of Israel, So I save you, and ye have been a blessing, Do not fear, let your hands be strong.
14 For, thus said Jehovah of Hosts, As I did purpose to do evil to you, When your fathers made Me wroth, Said Jehovah of Hosts, and I did not repent,
15 So I have turned back, I have purposed, in these days, To do good with Jerusalem, And with the house of Judah--fear not!
---

Zechariah 8:23 Thus said Jehovah of Hosts: In those days take hold do ten men of all languages of the nations, Yea, they have taken hold on the skirt of a man, a Jew, saying: We go with you, for we heard God is with you!

(2) Charlotte Mecklenburg:
Forgiving One Another and Moving Toward Healing
Thank you Yair for explaining the crisis between Judah and Ephraim.
Your message is right on about both needing to except the other just as they are. This is the message I have been trying to explain to Christians when I have the opportunity to speak about this subject. This is at the heart of forgiving one another and moving toward healing. We both worship the God who heals and that can only come by not pressuring anyone to think or believe like we do but accepting them as God does. When we get on to this track God will give us the Messiah we need to finish putting us all into the right perspective of what he wants in his Kingdom. Just this a.m. a person said to me, "God is going to reveal who the 12 tribes are" She knows nothing about Brit-am or any of the things we talk about but she is just another Christian reading her Bible and thinking we are promised there will be twelve tribes.
Whatever our niche is in this subject of Judah and Ephraim that leads to what God wants, we must keep on doing it.

Yair,
Are you alluding to something significantly different than what most recognize as a growing affinity between evangelicals and Jews? There is certainly a greater number of Hebraic Roots / Ephramites  that have no interest in "conversion" of Judah  but "Christians" have never made any bones about their intentions and that would include"Jews" for Jesus, who are not "Hebraic Roots" minded generally as I understand them. If there are a growing number of Jews that observe commandments and recognize "Yeshua" is that what you are speaking about? Americans in particular do not understand the vitriol against people when they "come to Jesus", how or why they are rejected as Jews by their own. Ephramites in general,  may be fatigued with lack of recognition from Judah, even though from a historical time line we are all closer than ever. In the age of instant, we want it now. It may be that the over-rearching support for Biblical Zionism will coalesce and Brit Am will be positioned to further bridge the gap in knowledge. May you continue to be a source of understanding and acceptance for all who love Zion.

Brit-Am Reply:
A person cannot remain a Jew and be something else at the same time.
One cannot ask the Jews to redefine themselves or to change Judaism to suit the personal needs of an individual.
You may say this is just or unjust but no matter.
That is the way things are.
What a person does these days is their own business.
Ephraimites however should NOT encourage Jews to be other than Jews and they should not decide for Jews what being Jewish means.
If Jews (ie. Rabbinical Traditional Orthodox Judaism) says a Jew cannot remain a Jew and be a Christian at the same time then do not encourage a Jew to become Christian.
Let the Messiah (when he comes) sort out the differences between us.
Leave the Jew alone or at the most help him to be more Jewish.
We want an eventual re-union between Judah as Judah and Ephraim as Ephraim.

(4) David: I lead a congregation -in South Mississippi
From: dmat77@bellsouth.net
Dear Yair, I am an "Ephraimite" in South Mississippi (USA). I lead a congregation of Messianic Believers. We keep Torah, the Shabbat, eat kosher, honor the festivals of haShem, etc. I came out of the traditional pentecostal church in this country and have spent the last 10 years un-learning everything I was taught. I have found that if we are to be Echad with Judah, we must stop trying to convert them to the pagan, Roman, anti-Torah, picture of Jesus that is embraced by the church, and sadly, by many who are beginning to realize they are also Ephraimite. This doctrinal position has cost me dearly, as I am accused of heresy by many of my fellows. However, I have never said I didn't believe in The Messiah, the Memra, the Word manifested. Once this covert anti-Torah bias is exposed as being intentionally inserted into the New Testament and propagated by the Church Fathers and now so interwoven into the fabric of their worship that it is extremely painful to expose, and Judah sees we are no longer unclean, healing will begin in Jacob. Everything is predicated upon this pagan sun-worship, from the steeple (obelisk) atop most buildings, to the day they choose to worship. I know you are aware of what I am saying but, I felt as if you would be heartened knowing that there is a remnant who are coming out of this whole, sad, affair. Judah, on the other hand must be willing to put aside their bias as well. Judge us by how we yearn for Torah and are striving to walk within its' boundaries, not by the past mistakes made by those in the church, who brandished their Christian Cross as a banner to foment hatred. We are deeply ashamed of being engaged in such woeful practices. We want to be more than just Noahides. We want to be accepted by our Brothers, not for who we are, but for who we are becoming. We are not Judah, we understand this and honor you for your tireless stand alone. Ours is not a prideful desire, for in Torah, one never is allowed Kingly privilege, who has not been first a servant. Pride must be broken. As Ephraim we are learning to serve and in the coming days, as the world gathers against Judah, adversity will both humble and teach us even more. We must earn the Trust of those who have preserved The Way. Perhaps then, Judah will fall on the neck of Joseph as we are recognized as the lost Brother and the House of Israel - united - Echad - will stand against the enemy. To this end, we will "Chazak Ameinu", David.

Brit-Am Reply:
Fair enough! But let Judah accept you from a distance.
We have a lot of work to do together.
Let us concentrate on doing what we can how we can with what we have and not live in an atmosphere of "If only if were otherwise!"
What we have is a good thing. Let us use it as we can.
Let Joseph become aware of his potential.
Let Judah be himself and let us work together.

(5) Roxanna: Captive Jews?
Dear Mr. Davidiy

I do not understand what you mean by "Ephraim needs Judah! Ephraim needs a Jewish Judah and not a Christian One." ?

As many of the lost tribe's members will be found today to be assimilated amongst the "gentiles" whom many are Christians due to the fact that they are lost to their original identity and religion- me being an example of one of these people- a person whose ancestry from the seed of Jacob and the tribe of Judah was only revealed to them fairly recently. Are all Christians then disqualified from being a brother to Ephraim and visa versa? What do you think God's purpose and intention was with keeping Ephraim separate from Judah and hiding the identity of Ephraim from Judah and the tribe itself till the end of days if only for Ephraim and Judah to discover that they after all do not "need" each other because part of one of them is no longer Jewish due to being lost among the nations for over 2,500 years - and that by God's ordinance and prophesy ? It seems this "discovery" of each other is taking place as we speak, at a rapid pace and that with Brit-Am's assistance. As the word of God prophesies that this revelation will take place in the end of days, I for this reason, inter alia, conclude that we are living in the end times. Where does the Christian Judah you refer to- the one that Ephraim does not need then fit in?

Amos 9:8b-9,

8 I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.
9 For lo, I will command, and shake the house of Israel among all nations, as one shakes with a sieve, but no pebble shall fall to the ground.
11 On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages;
I will raise up it ruins,
And rebuild it as in the days of old;
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the LORD who does this thing.

Isaiah 61:9
Their descendants shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge that they are a people whom the LORD has blessed.

Jer. 31:31-34
31, The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.
It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt- a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the LORD.
33, But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, "Know the LORD," for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.

Micah 5:8
 And the remnant of Jacob
 shall be among the Gentiles
in the midst of many people
as a lion among the beasts of the forest
as a young lion among the flocks of sheep

The tribes are not lost unto the Father, for He knows where He has taken them and for what purpose.
Blessings
Roxana Fuchs

Brit-Am Reply:
The answer to your question regarding those of Judah who were lost and now find themselves amongst Ephraimites is complicated and will change with each individual.
It is not exactly within our sphere.
We have discussed this matter in our notes on Captive Jews:
