1. Shelagh McKenna: Observations on Sorcery
Re: Weekly Potion: "MiKaetz"

Dear Mr. Davidy,

You may be interested in some of this information:

The word "magician" does not appear in the Bible. The word "hartom" was used to identify the so-called "magicians" of Egypt. Magic was the science of magi and had nothing to do with sorcery. The identification of magic with sorcery is a slander to the magi. Your quote from Psalms 96:5 supports their stargazing. They announced precessional ages. They had nothing to do with what is now considered astrology. That was part of the campaign to destroy their reputation.

Magi were associated with various ethnic groups and various religions. Among the Celts they wore tall black conical brimmed hats. The association of these hats with witches is yet another part of the campaign against magi. Witches were Germanic shamans. At least some of them were sorcerers. As far as I know, they did not wear tall black conical brimmed hats.

There are no magi now. I used to believe that they had abdicated, but now I suspect that they were exterminated when Christianity was re-formed under Constantine as an Arian (Marduk-worshipping) religion. They were too close to the original Christianity. They knew too much. The Essenes and other Sabaeans also knew too much and were exterminated wherever possible. The Jews also knew too much.

As for wizards, yes, they were sorcerers. In Europe their folkloric image was benevolent. Public feeling seems to have been that they had been virtuous but misguided. They converted to Christianity and became missionaries. In Europe only a very few, rare individuals did not convert, and their folkloric image became sinister, as if they had been a few "bad apples".

I am not surprised that powerful people are inclined toward sorcery. They are Arians, i.e. they are worshippers of Marduk, leader of the fallen angels. To them Sidon is an important place, and in particular Mount Hermon (Aryaman), from which the fallen angels descended.

The term "Arian" is not a racial designation, and the swastika is not specifically an Arian symbol. According to magian belief, Arians have taken over the current precessional age which belongs to the Jews, so their persecution of the Jews is not surprising. Zoroastrianism was a mission to convert the Arians.

Regards,

Shelagh McKenna

2. Michael Williams:  "War like Characteristics of Ephraim"
Re "Will the real Ephraim Please stand up"
http://britam.org/usa.html
I was looking up King Rehoboam I of Israel on Encarta, then one of the related articles was Ephraim so I clicked on that read a little then found the bit about their war like Characteristics as a tribe. So I thought hmm what country likes participating in wars (not the all the people necessarily, but mainly their representatives in this case the Government), and the first place I thought of was America they always seemed to be in the war Headlines. So I looked up for who you said the
Ephraimites were on Brit-am & I found the article "Will the real Ephraim please stand up". And I noticed the war like Characteristics of the Tribe of Ephraim were not mentioned so I thought this might help:
-----------
The Ephraimites were characterized as the most warlike of the 12 tribes of Israel; they criticized (see Judges 8:1) Gideon for not requesting their assistance in the war against the Midianites and protested (see Judges 12:1) to Jephthah about not being invited to participate in the battle against the Ammonites. Two of the most important Ephraimites recorded in biblical history are Joshua, conqueror of Canaan, and the prophet Samuel.
"Ephraim." Microsoft" Encarta" 2006 [CD]. Microsoft Corporation, 2005.
-----------
Here are those Bible passages:

Judges 8
1 And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the  Midianites" And they did chide with him sharply.

Judges 12
1 And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went  northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to  fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee" we will burn thine house upon thee with fire.
-----------
Maybe this is clue Clue to who the Ephraim is Today.

I just thought you might be interested.

3. Fal:  the entire Bible is enough for us to know of Him

Lies and slanders may well have been spoken of the "Talmud", but those who seek to lead must serve. To serve the Lord, if He accepts your service, is a high honor. Many seek to be first at His table, but He is the One who chooses. Many come in the name of the 'LORD' but there is that possibility that He may say "Get away from me, I never knew you,,," Regarding any subject it is not ignorant nor is it a slander to speak the truth. Yahweh's Torah is perfect. I imagine the entire Bible is enough for us to know Of Him. Only the foolish or the 'devil' would think them selves wise enough to add to it. You would not codify your commentary and then present it as law, and neither would I. But, you do speak insightfully re: the Talmud being by Jews for Jews. I am blessed with your communication and your company. thank you, J.
