1. Joan Griffith: Norwegians
Hi Yair,

This is, I suppose, a corollary to emigration of the Tribes. The Norwegian
embassy's publication, NewsofNorway for October, No. 5/03, says:
"Norway's relationship with the United States of America is
extraordinary, enduring and unique. The United States was the first country
to recognize Norway when it released itself from the union with Sweden in
1905. In the years between 1825 and 1930, around a third of the Norwegian
population emigrated to America -- only Ireland saw a larger percentage
leave for the New World.
"Today, there are more people of Norwegian descent in the United States
than there are Norwegians in Norway."

The newsletter asked people around the USA their impression of Norway: good
social benefits, oil, fish, handsome people, beautiful country. I would
have said it is a peace-loving country, small but strong. Odd, since they
descend from those fierce warriors, the Vikings.

2. Reaction to Brit-Am Truth Issue no. 6
Dear Yair,

I received my copy of Brit-Am Truth Issue no. 6. I have read it thoroughly.
It is so far the best publication that you have written and published. It
is excellent. It is well presented, readable and thought-provoking. I
couldn't put it down. I look forward to many more editions.

It was also a very good idea to send out Membership Certificates. I will
cherish it and frame it in my office.

Yours truly
Nelson Thall

4. Historical Explanations of Brit-Am
Regarding the historical explanations: We have historical explanations
describing the paths of migration to the west. We have evidence for these explanations
that we consider sufficient and convincing.

We did a lot of research on this subject and are still daily adding to
these findings and confirming them.
Eventually the results  (God willing) will be published.
Nevertheless, We might be prepared to debate our explanations on a forum dealing with history
but when the question concerns the truth of Brit-Am being accepted or not
  such discussion would be counter-productive.
It may be that on some historical points we will yet be shown to have been mistaken.
Alternately it may be that, even though we are correct, since our
explanations do not correspond on every point with the
conventional accounts a person may have a problem accepting them.
Whatever historical scenario one abides by there will still exist many
possibilities that very large numbers of peoples
migrated from the east to the west and settled in the west and now form a
majority or at least significant percentage
in certain areas.
WHATEVER historical explanation one accepts the possibility always exists
and numerous phenomena
cannot be adequately explained without accepting the fact that many people
from the Ancient East moved westward.
This is enough.

The Bible is true. The Bible and related sources proof the Brit-Am
explanation to be a true one.
This may be seen from the evidence we have published
and (for example) by viewing our list of Biblical Proofs and also be
reviewing our list of these same
(and other) points in their Scriptural context at the end of our book "Origins".

5. "Sepharad" and Judah
"Sepharad" in Hebrew means Spain. There were once many Jews in Spain.
They were expelled in 1492.
The Jews from Spain went all over the world but especially to Latin and
Eastern countries where they often influenced
the local customs so that these too came to consider themselves "Sephardic".
Similarly "Ashkenaz" was a popular Jewish name for Germany. Jews from
Germany to Eastern Europe and elsewhere
and had an important influence so that most "European Jews came to consider
themselves "Ashkenazic".
Many of the Jews in Spain and Portugal became Christians, In POrtugal all
the children of the Jews were kidnapped
and brought up as Catholics. Their descendants are destined to return to
Israel and Judah.
Their fate in the eyes of several commentators (such as the Abarbanel) is
bound up with that of the Lost Ten Tribes.

[Obadiah 1:20] AND THE CAPTIVITY OF THIS HOST OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL
SHALL POSSESS THAT OF THE CANAANITES, EVEN UNTO ZAREPHATH; AND THE
CAPTIVITY OF JERUSALEM, WHICH IS IN SEPHARAD, SHALL POSSESS THE CITIES OF
THE SOUTH.
<<AND THE CAPTIVITY OF THIS HOST OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL SHALL POSSESS
THAT OF THE CANAANITES, EVEN UNTO ZAREPHATH>>: As we pointed out elsewhere
this is referring to the Lost Ten Tribes (see Rashi, etc) who will be in
ZAREPHATH meaning Britain, France, Holland, and Western Europe in general.
AND THE CAPTIVITY OF JERUSALEM, WHICH IS IN SEPHARAD
AND THE CAPTIVITY OF JERUSALEM:  This refers to the Jews of Judah
WHICH IS IN SEPHARAD: In Hebrew Sepharad means Spain.
Jews of Sephardic origin also reached the British Isles. All the musicians
in the court of Henry-viii were secret Sephardic Jews from Italy. The Pope
made him expel them so he sent them away and then brought them back one by one.
He also  intervened on behalf of Separdic Jews in Holland which was then
ruled by Spain and being persecuted by the Spanish.

Subject: Sephardic Names
Hi,
I just discovered a web site that helps people research their Sephardic
names, or find out if they might be Sephardic: http://www.sephardim.com/

6. More on Italy
In "Brit-Am Now"-326 item 8. "Italians denied"
we explained the case of Italy as that of a nation dominated by
non-Israelites even though
many from Judah and Israel may have been assimilated amongst its population.
Brit-Am supporter Aharon Minazzi (lately from Milano, now living in Israel)
opines that
the Israelite component amongst the Italian population consisted mainly of
Jews from Judah
who would always have difficulty asserting their characteristics when cut
off from the Torah
or outside of the Land of Israel. Apart from isolated areas in the North he
does not think that the
Lost Tribes component of the Italian population was significant.
This opinion is worth considering even though we might differ somewhat.

7. Joshua and Today
If you neglected to read  our Brit-Am Commentary on Joshua 16 that was just sent out,  look it up.
It points out that from the very beginning Ephraim and Manasseh were in many respects considered
one entity. At first they were together, then they separated. Many from Ephraim dwelt amongst
Manasseh and Ephraim had cities in Manasseh. Canaanites also dwelt amongst them.
Canaanites would often hate Israel. When living amongst a people one cannot
consciously or at least not openly express hatred for them but this could
be expressed indirectly by hatred for their brother tribes. Hatred amongst
Israelites today for their fellow Israelites elsewhere, as found amongst
anti-Semites for example, could be an expression of Canaanite ancestry.
Who knows? maybe all of us have little negativity within us that we must
overcome.

Help Brit-Am.
God bless all of us.
