     How is everything? Good I trust. I really enjoy your Britam - Now
newsletters. They are a good source of information of Israel to the
Americans! Keep up the good work, we all love it!

Answer:
I am 52 years old. My parents and grandparents all lived to an old age in
reasonably good health.
I am also healthy but nobody guarantees anything.
I would like to train up a successor or better still, I would prefer that
several people step forward and actively
contribute to Brit-Am in terms of organization, finance, and scholarship.
Leaders, or a leader,
would then emerge naturally.
I also have sons who have academic inclinations and people skills who could
perhaps
contribute something in the future but at the moment this is not an actuality.
Anyway at the moment we are going ahead as well as we can.

Shalom Yair, First, let me say thank you for your hard work. The Brit-Am
project is very much needed at this time. The instability of world events is
spiraling out of control. It is my belief that HaShem has raised up this
group and others for the days ahead. When you know what is coming, it
prepares the mind and body to stand in the time of trouble.

The next part of my mail will be addressed to Rabbi YM. In reading his
letter to you, it's apparent that he has not read the articles from your
site, or the archives. I do hear fear expressed in his letter,and I wanted
to put his mind to rest. We have no intention of taking over Israel, but we
would be better neighbors then the ones they have now. While I am not
speaking for everyone, it is a little offensive to me that he thinks
thousands or tens of thousand raging gentiles might descend on Israel saying
we are Jews. If the statistics were in, "these Gentiles" that he is says
can't appreciate the finer nuances of your teaching áre very educated. It
comes across that the majority of us need to be taught the 7 Noach Laws so
we will be more civilized when we land on the shores of the Holy Land
wanting our portion.

While Brit-Am is not a religious site, many of us are well beyond the 7
laws. We do this out of love for HaShem, not to be a Israelite. Our love
of G-d came first, before the call. That is something I didn't understand
until I was directed to this site. People around the world were "awakened
" for lack of better term by one or two's. No one is out there saying this
is what you are, lets go to Israel. We are staunch supporters of Israel,
foremost we believe that what is written in the Torah and Prophets is true.
Then the factor of our heritage comes to play.

I would encourage Rabbi YM to stay on the mailing list, and get to know us
and what you are teaching. It is exciting to be tool in the hands of our
Creator. Until that time we will grow and be ready for the time that Judah
will call for help. I don't believe any want to be something we're not.
But...we are all very much in support of Israel. Some of us believe you
shouldn't give up any land, and yes we do believe we are a part of Israel;
Not a replacement. We will be there for you when the time comes, and most
important, we will be ready because of this site.   Thank You, Sharon

Greetings Yair,
Like "David USA", I too am interested in the Germany and Lost Tribes issue.

My folks also came from Germany, but my father came from London (we have
traced back to a Jacob Lightfoot in Ireland, however). My sister is the
family genealogist and she wrote a book on the family. She is not the only
one however! Therefore, Brit-Am readers should look for family histories at
libraries, local historical societies, and old book stores. One place
people can start is with the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City, which keeps
zillions of genealogy records.

My sister's book, and our third cousin's book on the same subject (Beitzel
of Birkelbach) include such things as the village(s) where individuals
lived. Evidently they had to sign up on the tax rolls each time they moved
to a different village. I guess it was a little different tracking people
without computers... lol.

5. Biblical Proof no. 19 North Country

The Lost Ten Tribes will also return from the North which is a major center
of theirs. Barry Fell claimed that the Phoenicians referred to North
America as The Great North Land. The Phoenicians at one stage included
members of Ancient Israelite Tribes in their ranks.

[Jeremiah 3:11] AND THE LORD SAID UNTO ME, THE BACKSLIDING ISRAEL HATH
JUSTIFIED HERSELF MORE THAN TREACHEROUS JUDAH.
             Jeremiah at one level is speaking of the situation in his own
time. The IsraeliteExiles as part of the Scythian forces did succeed in
breaking the yoke of the Assyrian Empire and providing assistance to Judah
under King Josiah the son of Amon. On another level Jeremiah is referring
to the Messianic Era and the period leading up to it: Meaning (it would
seem) our own time. The task of Judah was to keep the Law and to develop
it. Judah did this but perhaps not as well and as fully as it should have.

The task of Israel(The Lost Ten Tribes) was that of a nation: they were to
reform the Gentile peoples from within and elevate them; to establish a
sense of justice and order in the world; to help others; to set up
governmental systems and social values that would serves as examples to
others; they were also supposed to protect Judah and assist Judah to return
to the Land of Canaan and set up the State of Israel therein. All of these
tasks were basically achieved to a degree. They are also judged according
to the surroundings and jumping-offpoint they were started off upon.

[Jeremiah 3:12] GO AND PROCLAIM THESE WORDS TOWARD THE NORTH, AND SAY,
RETURN, THOU BACKSLIDING ISRAEL, SAITH THE LORD; AND I WILL NOT CAUSE MINE
ANGER TO FALL UPON YOU: FOR I AM MERCIFUL, SAITH THE LORD, AND I WILL NOT
KEEP ANGER FOR EVER.
<<THE NORTH>>: Most of the Lost Ten Tribes are in the North when the Land
of Israel is taken as the reference point. They are being called upon to
repent.

[Jeremiah 3:13] ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE THINE INIQUITY, THAT THOU HAST
TRANSGRESSED AGAINST THE LORD THY GOD, AND HAST SCATTERED THY WAYS TO THE
STRANGERS UNDER EVERY GREEN TREE, AND YE HAVE NOT OBEYED MY VOICE, SAITH
THE LORD.
The Lost Ten Tribes relatively speaking may have fulfilled at least part of
the task that was laid upon them but they are still lacking. They must
repent of their idolatry.

[Jeremiah 3:14] TURN, O BACKSLIDING CHILDREN, SAITH THE LORD; FOR I AM
MARRIED UNTO YOU: AND I WILL TAKE YOU ONE OF A CITY, AND TWO OF A FAMILY,
AND I WILL BRING YOU TO ZION:
<<ZION>>: Represents Jerusalem. Initially a token number will be pioneers
and return to re-unite with Judah. Later the majority will follow and
inherit their own territories in the Middle East and region.

[Jeremiah 3:18] IN THOSE DAYS THE HOUSE OF JUDAH SHALL WALK WITH THE HOUSE
OF ISRAEL, AND THEY SHALL COME TOGETHER OUT OF THE LAND OF THE NORTH TO THE
LAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN FOR AN INHERITANCE UNTO YOUR FATHERS.
The Midrash says:
Behold thou art fair, my love, yea pleasant, also our bed is green (Song of
Solomon 1;16).
Israel says: Behold thou art fair, my love When you will take retribution
from the worshippers of idols. Yea pleasant when you pay the reward of
those who fear you. Also our bed : These are the Ten Tribes. [In Hebrew bed
is eres while ten is eser and uses the same letters, and our bed (erseynu)
sounds like our ten (esereynu).] They are those who were exiled beyond the
Sambation River. The exiles of Judah and Benyamin [i.e. the present-day
Jews] are destined to go unto them and bring them back in order to merit
with them the Messianic Era and life in the World-To-Come. This is as it
says, In those days the house of Judah shall go unto the house of Israel
and they shall come together out of the land of the north unto the land
that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers (Jeremiah 3;18).

The verse should be read according to the above as:
THE HOUSE OF JUDAH SHALL GO UNTO [rather than WALK WITH] THE HOUSE OF
ISRAEL. People from Judah and Benjamin (i.e. legal Jews) shall go unto the
Lost Ten Tribes who are beyond the Sambation River. In our works (Ephraim
and The Tribes) we explained that the Sambation River means Israelite
Exiles who migrated to the west. The simple meaning is that Jews from Judah
will go unto the Lost Tribes to bring them back. It could be said that the
Jewish members of Brit-Am Israel is doing this to some degree.

There is an additional explanation.

Captive Jews
Since beginning this project and making contact with numerous people who
are interested in the subject and studying it we have noticed an
interesting phenomenon. Many non-Jews (Genitles) who agree with us that the
Lost Ten Tribes are in the West and feel an inner urge to learn this
message and in some cases help spread it also believe they have Jewish
origins. Sometimes this belief of Jewish origins is based on known facts
concerning one or other of their ancestors. In other cases the feeling of
Jewish origins is based on flimsy evidence but nevertheless the feeling
exists. Such feelings do not appear from nowhere and probably derive from
an inner awareness of their true ancestry. The people in question are often
those who are now helping spread knowledge and attitudes that will lead to
the Return of the Lost Ten Tribes. The role of these people in future will
increase. These Lost Jewsare also fulfilling the Prophecy of Jeremiah
(3:18). They have gone out from Judah to Israel and they are beginning to
bring Israel back from the Land of the North. We refer to these people as
Captive Jews though Lost Jews may be more appropriate. We used the term
Captive Jews (rather than Assimilated Jews or something similar) since in
many cases Jews were forced or heavily pressured to change their religion
and cease being Jewish against their will. Descendants of these Lost Jews
or Captive Jewsare often the leaders who are bringing their fellow Captive
Jews as well as the Lost Tribes back to their source.

<<BUT, THE LORD LIVETH, THAT BROUGHT UP THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL FROM THE
LAND OF THE NORTH, AND FROM ALL THE LANDS WHITHER HE HAD DRIVEN THEM: AND I
WILL BRING THEM AGAIN INTO THEIR LAND THAT I GAVE UNTO THEIR FATHERS>>
[Jeremiah 16:15]. They will be mostly to the North of the Land of Israel
but also in other places.

[Jeremiah 23:8] BUT, THE LORD LIVETH, WHICH BROUGHT UP AND WHICH LED THE
SEED OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL OUT OF THE NORTH COUNTRY, AND FROM ALL
COUNTRIES WHITHER I HAD DRIVEN THEM; AND THEY SHALL DWELL IN THEIR OWN LAND.

[Jeremiah 31:8] BEHOLD, I WILL BRING THEM FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY, AND
GATHER THEM FROM THE COASTS OF THE EARTH, AND WITH THEM THE BLIND AND THE
LAME, THE WOMAN WITH CHILD AND HER THAT TRAVAILETH WITH CHILD TOGETHER: A
GREAT COMPANY SHALL RETURN THITHER.
<<FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY>>: Most of the Lost Ten Tribes will be in the North.

[Jeremiah 31:7] FOR THUS SAITH THE LORD; SING WITH GLADNESS FOR JACOB, AND
SHOUT AMONG THE CHIEF OF THE NATIONS: PUBLISH YE, PRAISE YE, AND SAY, O
LORD, SAVE THY PEOPLE, THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL.

[Jeremiah 31:9] THEY SHALL COME WITH WEEPING, AND WITH SUPPLICATIONS WILL
I LEAD THEM: I WILL CAUSE THEM TO WALK BY THE RIVERS OF WATERS IN A
STRAIGHT WAY, WHEREIN THEY SHALL NOT STUMBLE: FOR I AM A FATHER TO ISRAEL,
AND EPHRAIM IS MY FIRSTBORN.
<<I AM A FATHER TO ISRAEL, AND EPHRAIM IS MY FIRSTBORN>>: God will return
and acknowledge the Lost Ten Tribes as His people alongside Judah. This
will be known to all. The Lost Ten Tribes will no longer be lost. At
present they are Lost: Most of them are not aware of their true Israelite
identity and this identity is not known to others.
<<God says to Israel, You are my sons and I am your father, as it says
[Deuteronomy 14:1] YE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE LORD YOUR GOD. I am your
father as it says, I AM A FATHER TO ISRAEL. It is honorable for the
children to be with their father and it is an honor for the father to be
with his children>>. (Shemot Rabah 34;4).

[Jeremiah 31:10] HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD, O YE NATIONS, AND DECLARE IT IN
THE ISLES AFAR OFF, AND SAY, HE THAT SCATTERED ISRAEL WILL GATHER HIM, AND
KEEP HIM, AS A SHEPHERD DOTH HIS FLOCK.

[Jeremiah 31:11] FOR THE LORD HATH REDEEMED JACOB, AND RANSOMED HIM FROM
THE HAND OF HIM THAT WAS STRONGER THAN HE.
Notice the linkage of North Country, coasts of the earth, Israel,
Ephraim, and "Isles afar off".
