KMLS FM 101.9

Note: These broadcasts frequently reach an audience of up to 2000 or more.
The podcasts are later made available on the KMLS FM 101.9 web-site
and are downloaded sometimes in the hundreds and at other times by much less.
The quality varies but on the whole is considered more than reasonable, often quite good, and we would like to think is constantly improving.

Our New BAMBI broadcasts on the Weekly Portion and other matters are also worth listening to.

2. Sabbatical-Shemitta in Bulgaria?
Re: Weekly Portion: BeHar-BeChukatai

Shalom,
One of my employees is from Bulgaria. We are friendly and sometimes chat about our countries. He is not Jewish
One time he mentioned that in his country they practice "Shmita", in the sense that they also leave the land fallow every seventh year. I think he said that is the law there. I wonder if they do it because of some affinity to the biblical law, although it's unlikely because as I understood from him and another Bulgarian, in Bulgaria, religion doesn't play any role at all. Maybe it is purely agricultural reasoning.

I tried to Google it, but didn't find the answer.
instead, I came across an interesting site:

3. Ingileif & Didrik: Beowulf and the Tribe of Benjamin
Re: Brit-Am Now no. 1341 Ten Tribes
#4. Question Concerning Beowulf and Israelite Associations
http://britam.org/now/1341Now.html#Question3

Beowulf meaning Beo- wolf.
The sign of Benjamin was a wolf

In my researches: The Roots of the Icelanders I look not only in old annals and sagas and genealogy, but I also try to follow the pictures, signs and surnames that mean "wolf" through Europe.
And the Dacian dragon with its wolf head and snake body is a in my mind [a symbol of] unification between Benjamin and Dan. A unification again found in Jutland 200-800 AD with the Danes and "Nearly-Danes" (Halfdanir).
Dr. Bardi Gudmundsson made extensive researches to show our origins from the Heruls (war-wolfs). This was really contrary to the legend that we were all the same people that remained in Norway when they [the Heruls] left. So this theory got really frosty meetings. That was in 1958, but over the last 50 years more and more support has been found for this theory.

I am not necessarily saying that we are Benjamin (even if the rumors goes that we are). But what should fit Benjamin better than to disappear from the beginning and appear again in the rest and have been able somehow to keep a faint remembrance  all the time?????

Sincerely

Ingileif & Didrik
