1. Another Question on DNA along with a Proposal to Non-Israelites as Spiritually Israel

#2. Question on Whether DNA Confirms Brit-Am Findings:
A Clarification

Mr. Davidiy,

Thank you for your interesting reply.  I was not aware that anyone proposing the European-Israelite theory had given much or any consideration to the DNA aspect.  It's clear that you have.

The thing that I'm not understanding is -- and I am no expert on DNA analysis -- if Abraham were the common father of Jews, Brits, Americans, Scandinavians, etc...my understanding is that the Y chromosome would indicate so in these various populations.  But it is my understanding that this is not the case.  In light of this, what are you thoughts on the feasibility (Biblically speaking) of the idea that perhaps there was significant intermixing of the original Israelite tribes with indigenous peoples and therefore the promises were fulfilled less in a literal blood-relation sense and more in terms of these "smaller remnants" imprinting their national characteristics on the various nations they formed the cores of?

Brit-Am Reply:
Your suggestion is consistent with some schools of Christian thought and also with certain (but not all) Rabbinical Sources.
Neverheless it is not necessary and we do not accept it.
There is a principle (quoted by Nachmandies) that Biblical passages are to be understood firstly in their literal simple sense UNLESS some other reason interposes and requires a more figurative explanation. The same applies to other matters.
The Jewish People has always accepted converts many of whom may have been of non-Israelite origin.
So too amongst peoples where the Ten Tribes were dominant there were also non-Israelites who intermixed with them and now identify with them. Ezekiel 47:22 allows for the future acceptance of such peoples alongside Israelites.
Non-Israelites who have settled amongst us, identified with us and shared our trials and tribulations alongside us will be considered as the same as us. They will be part of whatsoever Tribe of Israel they have dwelt amongst.
[Ezekiel 47:22] AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT YE SHALL DIVIDE IT BY LOT FOR AN INHERITANCE UNTO YOU, AND TO THE STRANGERS THAT SOJOURN AMONG YOU, WHICH SHALL BEGET CHILDREN AMONG YOU: AND THEY SHALL BE UNTO YOU AS BORN IN THE COUNTRY AMONG THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL; THEY SHALL HAVE INHERITANCE WITH YOU AMONG THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.

You are proposing that in the future those Israelites who are descended from Israelites will return together with more numerous non-Israelites amongst whom the Israelites had settled and "imprinted" upon them something of their Israelite characteristics.
For all we know this could be what will happen. It us however it seems unlikely.
The indications are that most of those Israelites who return will be direct descendants of the original Israelites who went into Exile and not even all of them will necessarily make it.
In fact those who come through may number less than a third...(Zechariah 13:8 ).

The rational for your proposal was based on conventional DNA primarily concerning the Y (male) Chromsome.
[Regarding mtDNA of European populations and possible Middle Eastern origins there is much less of a problem.]
You in effect suppose that DNA shows little direct connection between the Jews and peoples in the west therefore peoples in the west cannot be related to the Jews.
On the other hand Biblical and Secular studies (such as those of Brit-Am) do show a linkage between peoples in the west and Ancient Israel despite DNA not linking western peoples to the Middle East.
The Brit-Am reply is:
a. We uphold the veracity and relevance of Biblical and secular studies linking certain western peoples to the Jews and the Ancient Middle East.
b. YDNA is determined by geography.
c. YDNA is described along an evolutionary sequence progressing from the simple to the complex.
Scientific and empirical evidence however says that this should be reversed with the progression being from the complex to the simple. If this is accepted there is nothing impeding acceptance of a scenario whereby western DNA may be directly linked to that of the Jews and Middle East.
We explained this in our last reply.
You either did not understand what we said or else have chosen to ignore it.
We hope to write an article explaining the issue more thoroughly and using illustrative diagrams.

All the best, May God bless you
Yair Davidiy

3. Question on the Khazars, The Thirteenth Tribe

Pam Johnson you wrote:

Are the Khazars (whom I understand to be the 13the tribe)  to inherit the blessings God promised to the other 12 tribes?

Thank you

Brit-Am Reply:
The expression 13th Tribe comes from the title of the work by Arthur Koestler.

By calling his book "The Thirteenth Tribe" Koestler wished to intimate that the Khazars were a new entity who had attached themselves to the "real" Israelites represented by the Twelve Tribes.
Ironically however Koestler was being more Biblically accurate than he realized.
There are in effect Thirteen Israelite Tribes.
Manasseh may be considered the thirteenth Tribes (Look at how many times the number thirteen appears on a dollar bill; thirteen arrows, 13 stars, etc). The Khazars according to Jewish Tradition were in fact descendants of some Jews from Judah along with
groups from the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. Simeon was especially prominent but the RULING GROUP CAME FROM MANASSEH!
They really could be named the Thriteenth Tribe!
Koestler denied the Israelite origin of the Khazars because of his ideological interest.
He quoted facts to back his opinion up.
Brit-Am affirms the Israelite origin of the Khazars due to our researches that our motivated in part by our ideological interest.
We also quote facts to back up our position.
Our facts are better.
Our position is truer.
The book of Koestler became the darling of all those who hate the Jewish people.
Our work deserves to be valued by all those who sympathize with the Jews and identify as Israelites.
We are publishing a book on about the Khazars, their Israelite origins, and their kinship with peoples in the West.

4. Brit-Am North American Address and Question on NT.

Yair,

I have misplaced the Florida address and I'd like to send some $ soon. Please
provide this for me.

Also, do you use the New Testament as a resource for your teaching? B.

Brit-Am Replies:
(a) Here is the Florida address:

Yair Davidy
Brit-Am
2017 Van Buren St.
Hollywood
FL 33020
USA

Some people are used to sending to Yair and including little personal notes etc.
Please continue to do so.
We set up the Florida address to make it easier and more certain for residents of North America to send checks etc to Brit-Am. Please make use of this address or at least continue to send to the one in Israel.
If you feel easier sending to Yair in Israel please do so, otherwise send to Itamar.
Either way Brit-Am will receive the funds and put them to use on behalf of Brit-Am and on your behalf.
You will receive a blessing along with whatever publications you may have ordered.

(b) No. We avoid the NT and endeavor to make our teachings acceptable to both Jews and Gentiles.
On the whole (to the surprise of everybody else including ourselves) we succeed in pleasing both parties.
God bless you
Yair

5. Encouragement

Hi Yair,

I just wanted to let you know that the books and publications arrived a couple of days ago.

I've started reading EPHRAIM, but am also now starting ROLE TO RULE.  Your research is very good and thought provoking.  And aside from your blind spot about the role of [the Christian Messiah] in this masterful play being acted out, I'm literally being swept away by the [Divine Inspiration] in your writings.

Your research is impeccable, and I truly appreciate your effort.  Please don't give up!
This will all be made right very soon.

Blessings to you,

Brian
