#5. The State of Israel Should be Termed the State of Judah!
This is an interesting source.
This document says:
"This government has been informed that a Jewish State has been proclaimed in
and recognition has been requested by the provisional government thereof.
The United states recognizes the provisional government as the de facto
authority of the new State of Israel.
May 14 1948
The words State of Israel (see Illustration) were written in by hand instead of
expression "Jewish State" that had been typed in and then crossed out.
Harry Truman at the time was the President of the USA.
########################### 2. Non-Jewish Immigrants to Israel and
Conversions The latest issue of a weekly Hebrew-language newsletter ("Olam Katan"
contained two articles concerning conversions to Judaism.
Rabbi Israel Rozen writes that today 300,000 citizens of the State of Israel
(apart from Arab citizens) are not Jewish, i.e. ca. 5% of the total.
He describes Conversion Courses that consist of 2 or 3 meetings per week.
These courses entail classes, communal activities, and an accompanying family
for guidance. At the end of a year 75% of the participants are accepted
to undergo the conversion ceremony. Another 20% complete the course at a later
i.e. total acceptance, he says, is ca. 95%.
85% of the participants are females in their fertile years.
Another article in the same issue by Rabbi Nachum Eizenstein
says that the true number of non-Jewish citizens (not including the Arabs, i.e.
from the former USSR) according to a Professor at Bar Ilan Unviersity is not
as officially reported but closer to a million!
The article says that various studies and documents prove that 90% of the
conversions taking place today
are undertaken by people who in advance do not intend to keep all the
The Rabbi seems to take the attitude that such conversions (in which the
intention is not a sincere one)
are invalidated. This is a somewhat problematic and controversial position.
Another point mentioned is that the various organizations set up to try to make
the Israeli population more religious together only succeed each year in
bringing back to Judaism about
a 1000 people per year. [This figure would appear to contradict claims made
elsewhere or perhaps does not include

the Ten Tribes Subject: Re: Brit-Am Now no. 1117
As the new found knowledge that many of us
having been learning and sharing, we get over
excited and need to learn as the days ahead bring
the promises of the Almighty.
I get so excited about some of the Torah truths.
I see many blessings for Judah if the sticks will reunite.
I also, see forgiveness for my people and many blessings
for the lost tribes.
I pray and ask the Almighty to bless Judah, keep
Judah safe and send the Messiah. One more injured
Jew in Israel is one to many.
The greatest truth is what does the God of Abraham,
of Isaac and Jacob want us to do next to end the
terrible terror against Judah. If we answer that question and do
it, The God of All Israel will be moved and act on behalf of
His children Israel and Judah. I believe this very much.
Bless Judah and Bless the state of Israel.
########################### 4. Sailor to recreate Phoenicians' epic
On the ancient Syrian island of Arwad, which was settled by the Phoenicians in
about 2000BC, men are hard at work hammering wooden pegs into the hull of a
But this vessel will not be taking fishermen on their daily trip up and down the
coast. It is destined for a greater adventure, one that could solve a mystery
which has baffled archaeologists for centuries.
The adventure begins not in Arwad but in Dorset, where an Englishman has taken
it upon himself to try to prove that the Phoenicians circumnavigated Africa
thousands of years before any Europeans did.
Philip Beale, 47, has commissioned the building of a replica Phoenician ship
that he plans to sail around the continent with a crew of 20. Their 10-month
expedition sets off in August and will follow the route that seafaring
Phoenician merchants are said to have taken more than 2,500 years ago.
Apart from navigation and communications equipment, Mr Beale's crew will have
none of the comforts of a 21st-century vessel; their ship has no toilet or
running water, no spare sails and no emergency motor. If they run into
difficulty, they will have to rely on old-fashioned brawn and row.
"For me it is the challenge that is the attraction but I am a little wary," Mr
Beale admitted yesterday. "I have been round the Cape of Good Hope before in a
traditional vessel and I know there are risks. There is a 30 per cent chance
that we won't be able to complete it at all."
Mr Beale had the idea for his unusual quest when he read the works of Herodotus,
who wrote about the Phoenician voyage. According to the Greek historian, their
journey began on the shores of the Red Sea, when the Egyptian King Necho asked a
group of Phoenician seamen to attempt the first near-circumnavigation of the
continent in 600BC. Mr Beale's crew will use the Suez Canal to reach the point
of their predecessors' departure.
Two thousand years after the Phoenicians, the first European known to have
rounded southern Africa was a Portuguese navigator, Bartolomeu Dias. He was
blown off course in 1488 as he explored the coast in the hope of finding a trade
route to Asia.
In pre-Christian times the Phoenicians (referred to in the Bible as "rulers of
the sea") were considered the only sailors capable of navigating their flimsy
wooden vessels on such a treacherous voyage. So how will Mr Beale's crew fare in
their flimsy replica ship?
"There are lots of dangers," he admitted. "In rough seas there is a risk that it
could simply fall apart. And because we have got just one square sail, we cannot
sail into the wind, so we might get blown on to rocks."
As if that did not sound frightening enough, the crew also face a considerable
risk of running into modern-day pirates as they navigate the African coast.
This is not Mr Beale's first maritime adventure. In his early twenties, he was
inspired to study old ships by a picture of an ancient Indonesian schooner that
he saw in Java. In 2003, he gave up a career as a City fund manager to
commission a replica of that 2,800-year-old boat and sail it to Africa. Since
then, he hasn't looked back. "I don't think I could do a nine-to-five now," he

Israel is the State of Judah!
THE JEWS ARE JUDAH
by Steven Collins and Yair Davidiy
[Isaiah 48:1] HEAR YE THIS, O HOUSE OF JACOB, WHICH ARE CALLED BY THE NAME OF
ISRAEL, AND ARE COME FORTH OUT OF THE WATERS OF JUDAH, WHICH SWEAR BY THE NAME
OF THE LORD, AND MAKE MENTION OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL, BUT NOT IN TRUTH, NOR IN
RIGHTEOUSNESS. Commentary of the Malbim.
HEAR YE THIS, O HOUSE OF JACOB,
those things I am about to speak unto you.
WHICH ARE CALLED BY THE NAME OF ISRAEL. Due to your importance and exaltation
beyond what would otherwise be your natural limitations.
You are the Tribe that emerged from the Waters [Seed] of Judah. This is the
Tribe of Judah within whose territory was located the Temple and from whom
emerged the House of David. You [Judah] are they I ask, How can you SWEAR BY
THE NAME OF THE LORD, AND MAKE MENTION OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL BUT NOT IN TRUTH,
NOR IN RIGHTEOUSNESS? You were capable of becoming saints whether due to your
deeds or by merit of your ancestry. How is it that you have become the opposite?
The oaths that you swear in the Name of the Almighty are not genuine but false.
When you MAKE MENTION OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL claiming that you are the servants of
the Almighty it is not justified by your deeds. You lack RIGHTEOUSNESS [Hebrew "Tsedakah"]
meaning good deeds that a person does for the sake of Heaven.
Brit-Am is the "still small voice" that contains the truth.
