1. Arab propaganda Sent to Brit-Am Headquarters
This morning we received an uninvited unsolicited "spam" e-mail posting.
It was headed:
Date: Tue, 06 Jan 2009 20:15:32 -0800
From: Adbusters Magazine <jammers@lists.adbusters.org>
Subject: Throw your weight behind Gaza in the PR war
To: 6689 <britam@netvision.net.il>
Reply-to: campaigns@adbusters.org
This posting claimed that the Israelis in Gaza are deliberately targeting civilians and called for action against them.
It supplied links and an article and called upon everyone to spread the anti-Israeli message.
This is what the Jew-hating terrorist maniacs are doing.
We should all do the same but from our point of view, not theirs.
One of their links led us to an article extracts from which appear in the next item below.

The Existence of Hamas Means the End of Israel
Extract:
But this is far from the end of the story. In fact it is just the beginning. Every Middle East expert knows that Hamas can seize control of the West Bank within hours. In fact, PA and Fatah control in the West Bank is maintained by the IDF. Once Hamas takes the West Bank, the biggest Israeli population centre will be left to the mercy of Hamas. For those who fail to see, this would be the end of Jewish Israel. It may happen later today, it may happen in three months or in five years, it isn't matter of "if" but rather matter of "when". By that time, the whole of Israel will be within firing range of Hamas and Hezbollah, Israeli society will collapse, its economy will be ruined. The price of a detached villa in Northern Tel Aviv would equal a shed in Kiryat Shmone or Sderot. By the time a single rocket hits Tel Aviv, the Zionist dream will be over.

3. Constance Fischer:
Bibi Netanyahu, the Prophet Amos, and the Present

From: Constance Fischer [mailto:cfischer@satx.rr.com]

Subject: Bibi quoting Prophet Amos re Gaza and Psalm 18

Sent from a Light Horse.  As He would have it, I was just in these same Scriptures in Amos last night.

You go Bibi!:

In a special session called in the wake of the IDF operation in Gaza and the situation in southern Israel, Netanyahu called upon the citizenry of Israel, Jews and Arabs alike, to stand united behind the IDF's actions in the south. He likewise called for a change in policy that would restore Israel's deterrence. "For three transgressions of Gaza, I will turn away but for the fourth, I will not", Netanyahu opened his address in the plenum session of the Knesset quoting from the Prophet Amos.

"For firing upon civilians, for taking cover behind civilians, for causing suffering to our citizens, and for causing suffering to their citizens, we will strike back at the terror in double measure, said Netanyahu and enumerated the crimes of the Hamas: "for destroying our communities, for destroying hope, we will pay them back with an iron hand, the hand of the Jewish people, as the Prophet Amos said: "I will send fire in the walls of Gaza."

Also remember to be praying Tehillim/Psalm 18, 91, 144.  Regarding Psalm 18, note this excerpt from a recent report on 1/3/09 from Arutz Sheva:

Rabbi Dr. Michael Ben-Ari

by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, the number four man on the National Union's Knesset list, thinks the leaders of Israel should follow King David's advice from the Eighteenth Psalm regarding Gaza: "I will chase my enemies and catch up to them and I shall not return until I annihilate them."  (end quote)

Let us continue to pray His word and for Him to protect the innocents.  But let us also pray that Yisrael, by His leading, will thoroughly clean out the rats nests and snakes nests.

However, with Bibi quoting Amos and the call by Dr. Ben-Ari for heeding Psalm 18, it seems that Yehudah and Ephrayim are coming together in prayer and instruction by Him Whose arms and hands are strumming the ten stringed harp… by Him Whose arms and hands pull back the bow of Yehudah and releases the arrow of Ephrayim.

In His shalom,

Constance

“Send forth Your hand from above; Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters, From the hand of foreigners, Whose mouth has spoken falsehood, And whose right hand is a right hand of lies.

O Elohim, a new song I sing to You;

On a harp of ten strings I sing praises to You…â€

"The Arrow" Missile Defense System from U.S. to Israel

For I shall bend Yehudah for Me, I shall fill the bow with Ephrayim, and I shall stir up your sons, O Tsiyon, against your sons, O Greece, and I shall make you like the sword of a mighty man.

4. Burt Prelutsky: Israel Against The Barbarians
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=85446
Extracts:
Just for the record, I am a non-observant Jew. That means that my mother's father, Max Lashevsky, who kept kosher and attended an orthodox synagogue every day of his life, would probably have considered me a heathen, while Adolf Hitler would have exterminated me in a gas oven.

I want that to be perfectly clear so that when I declare my concern for Israel, nobody will simply assume it's because I'm Jewish. I am on the side of Israel because it's a Western democracy, an ally of America, and because I regard her enemies as the scum of the world.

Israel's foes believe in targeting women and children just so long as they're Jewish or Christian. They are not only intolerant of the freedoms we take for granted, speech and religion, but they are polygamous, treat their women as chattel and encourage their children to achieve martyrdom as suicide bombers. Moreover, so-called honor killings are part of what passes for their culture.

Yet here in America, and even more so in Europe, you will find millions of theoretically civilized people who find a moral equivalence between Israel and her sworn enemies, and even more millions who favor the Arabs.

In a recent Rasmussen Poll, 62 percent of Republicans in America sided with Israel, while a mere 31 percent of Democrats favored Israel in the current conflict.

As you may have noticed, the world's media rarely if ever remarked about the thousands of missiles Hamas fired into Israel over the past few years. However, once Israel finally got around to announcing that enough was enough and went on the offensive, Condoleezza Rice and the European Union didn't waste a second before crying "Foul!" and throwing a penalty flag.

This same pattern is followed each and every time Israel responds to unprovoked attacks. You can invariably count on the nations of the world agreeing that Israel is out of line. While it's nice they can agree on something, it's a shame that "something" never seems to be Islamic terrorism, Arab barbarism or slavery in modern-day Africa.

Frankly, I marvel at Israel's spiritual fortitude, at her reluctance to seek biblical retribution. Even one missile would be enough to get me riled up. To absorb 10,000 missile attacks strikes me as verging on the masochistic. I honestly think Israel continues to be far too concerned with world opinion. After 61 years of hearing one's enemies repeating Hitler's plans for the final solution, collateral damage would be the least of my concerns.

5. IDF: Hamas built underground city

In light of diplomatic pressure, army officials know forces must inflict heavy blow on Hamas in days left till completion of Gaza operation. Forces operating in Strip become familiar with enemy's modes of operation, say Hamas formed underground city of tunnels, weapons.

The diplomatic clock is ticking, but the IDF moves forward: As Operation Cast Lead enters its 12th day, the preparations for the next stage - expanding and deepening the operation - are being completed.

The defense establishment still seeks to inflict a heavy blow on Hamas and return the soldiers to Israel only after creating an impression that the Palestinian organization's military wing has learned its lesson.

According to different estimates in the IDF, the current move may reach its final stages within several days, after which the ball will move to the diplomatic court.

In the meantime, army officials are taking pride in the forces' achievements in recent days, in the air and on the ground. Hamas' division and brigade commanders are hiding under the ground, the rocket manufacturing alignment has been damaged and many of the organization's infrastructures have
disappeared.

The Southern Command, headed by Major-General Yoav Galant, is now examining the right way to expand the operation. The training of reserve forces which may enter Gaza in the coming days continued Tuesday.

The desire to deepen the blow suffered by Hamas is prompting the IDF to take advantage of each day to its end before the diplomatic clock rings.

"Every day that goes by is another punch to Hamas on any parameter - a weapons storehouse uncovered, a tunnel destroyed, facilities sustaining severe damage, activists hurt on different levels, and especially strengthening the understanding on the other side that there is a country here which will not accept the past situation and will not accept a repeated situation," a senior military source told Ynet.

'Gunmen dug tunnels under their homes'

IDF forces operating in northern Gaza have quickly become familiar with the enemy's modes of operation. According to commanders and soldiers, Hamas has built an underground city of tunnels and holes paved with weapons.

Many Hamas members have dug tunnels for themselves under their homes and hid weapon caches in them.

One of the Air Force strikes in Gaza, not far from the Shifa Hospital, revealed weapons hidden in the area. Following the explosion, the bottom part of the bunker was blown away, exposing a maze of tunnels.

IDF officials said the terrorists emerge from the tunnels, hide in them, attempt to kidnap soldiers into them and place different traps in a bid to attract the soldiers. The Hamas men try to initiate close combat, face-to-face, and use different methods - covering tunnels with dolls, placing explosives in schools and wearing IDF uniform.

The forces are still being prepared for the operation, and medical teams have been trained at the simulator of the Army Logistic Training Center.

"We are simulating a complicated incident with a large number of casualties according to the threats in the Strip," said Lieutenant-General Yoel Har-Even, head of the Medical Corps' training unit.
