Article worth reading.
Makes a remark that in WW2 Dresden in Southeast Germany had no military value.
Our impression is that it did have and if it had not been destroyed may have enabled the Germans to set up a second front to stop the Russian advance and thus have prolonged WW2.

2. US Pledges $555 to Arab Palestinians
http://www.israelunitycoalition.org/news/article.php?id=2485
U.S. Consul-General Jake Walles and Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Faya'd on Wednesday signed an agreement that will allow the first installment of America's $555-million pledge to the Palestinian Authority, some $150 million, to reach the P.A. treasury. The money is not earmarked and will go directly into the budget to help address shortfalls. The U.S. pledged $555 million at a donors' conference held in Paris last year.

Extract:
Two recent polls find a vast majority of Arab supporting terror attacks and a growing Israeli majority opposed to further withdrawals.

A recent Palestinian Authority poll shows that 84 percent of PA Arabs approve of the massacre at Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem, where eight students were gunned down and ten wounded.
