B. Brit-Am Website
 http://www.britam.org/

1. How did you come across the Brit-Am website?
2. What, if anything, is wrong about the site?
3. Please name the three articles you found most impressive.
4. Are there any articles on the site you would rather were not there?

Craig:
1. CHANCE-GOOGLE
4. WHYCHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT MISSIONISE JEWS. COUNTERPRODUCTIVE

Lyn:
1. Word of mouth.
3. TOO hard! I love your work on individual tribes.
4. I'm unsure about the work on megaliths. I'm more inclined to think that whilethey may have started off true and with a godly purpose, their use becamecorrupted and the majority of those in the west were used for occult purposes.I can't be sure about this, but feel uncomfortable about attributing them all aswaymarks.

Ron
1. Googling for info on British - Judaic connections, I think.
3. Many articles are impressive, but the books Joseph and The Tribesparticularly so.

Michelle:
1. friend
2. I miss the one picture of the Hiberi with the English soldier and the Orthox Jew togther on one page, it reminds me of the stick coming to gether and it shows a visual representation of the reality of us being BROTHERS. A picture has strong influence.
3. Biblical Proof of the Lost Tribe Identity, Megaliths, Drinkers of Alcohol

Thomas:
1. From your newsletter
3. I like breaking news [Jerusalem News]from Israel.

Charlotte:
1. By clicking on the given addresses in your e-mail text.
3. The ones on DNA, all the stuff that has to do with data regarding the lost tribes, news items from Israel that are related in someway to the subject.

Robert:
1. Yahoo
2. Need to interact both those who contact you. Having a section to teach Gd Ways.
3. All of them
4. Negative response which stops the Work of Gd.

Joan:
1.Looked it up due to my friend.
2.Could be more professional, but it looks fine.
3. Not fair to the other articles. As a rule, your articles are well-written.

Yoel:
1. My friend told me about it.
2.I believe that in some way it needs to portray more seriousness, as an orthodox site. The colors are very Yankee but too bright for a tzanua Yidd [Modest Jew]. 3. They are all remarkable. I haven’t read all of them!

Patricia:
1. I don't remember. I became familiar with Yair's work in 1995, but at that time did not use a computer. Perhaps when I did finally get a computer, which was not until 2001, I then looked for his website.
2. I think it a terrific website!
3. One piece of information I found most impressive was when Yair revealed his ancestry is connected to Nial of the Nine Hostages! That made so much sense to me because Nial is supposed to be descended from Judah's son, Zerach. And the name Zerach means "rising light." There are prophecies in the Scriptures which I believe are about Zerach's role in "end time" events, which I feel fit Yair's work perfectly! Those references are found in Is. 60:1-3, and Is. 58:9-12. In Is. 58, it is even said that Zerach actually repairs the Peretz ("breach," his twin brother's name).
I love the articles you have done on Dolmens and Jer. 31:21. I find them so significant in retracing our steps. They represent physical proof of not only our migration, but the fact that we listened to the prophet and set up waymarks! Another of my favorites is the article excerpted from "Lost Israelite Identity," titled "The Hiberi." And Brit-Am Bible Codes is really cool!

Sal:
3. A. Return of the Ten Tribes (Nachmanides)
B. Messiah Son of Joseph
C. Questions and Answers

Dafydd:
1. Search engine.
3. It may seem like a strange mixture, but I have frequently shared Biblical Proofs (obviously), your article on "What spake Zarathustra?", which I have found useful when introducing Bit-Am ideas to secular people, and I have shared another article (can't find it at the moment) which relates to the story of Naomi & Ruth, in particular whether it was "kosher" for Boaz to marry Ruth. I had a long-term discussion with a dear old Christian friend of mine (a retired Pastor) and he read your article and now agrees with your conclusions, and accepts the rulings of the Judges up until the time that Shiloh came (of course, dear Yair, we hold different opinions on that).

WRG:
I like your site.

Cam:
3. "Sometimes they Come Back"; The Danites; Yair's commentary on the Torah is very good.
4. No, they are all important in there own manner.

W:
1. Sent to me by a friend also interested in the lost 10 tribes, and the Hebrew Scriptures.
2. I find it most helpful.
3. I cannot remember them by name, but I love the Scriptures especially the Psalms, you are currently doing, and the links to the articles of the Israelites journey's and the countries in which they are today.
4. Not that I've seen as yet.

Jon:
1. I'd bought Ephraim and The Tribes and I think the web address must have been sent with that. Otherwise I dont remember how i got the web address. I was first in contact with you in 1994. I was in Jerusalem and I saw a poster about you and back in England I wrote you a letter, to which you replied.
2. I dont like its what looks like sometimes negative attitudes towards Palestinians and other Muslims. I do not see this reflecting the noble traditions of Israel. I wonder too whether it is possible to support Brit-Am without having to also support the political goals of far right wing Jewish thought. I do not believe that anyone should be forced to leave Palestine against their will, and I wonder if Brit am disagrees with me in this. I also think that ultimately Israelites and Palestinians can. I dont like the notion that one is somehow not allowed to support both Israel and the Palestinians.

Dennis:
A link from a forwarded message on a message board back in 2002 if I remember correctly.
2. I love it. A link into an active message board would be a nicetouch.
3. http://britam.org/messiah.html
http://www.britam.org/Questions/QuesDan.html
You have updated this article. Looks great!
http://britam.org/scripture/IsaiahSummary1to10.html

B:
1. DAVID BEN ARIEL WEBSITE
2. NOT VERY VISUAL

JB:
3.bible codes, scottish irish identity as have irish/scotts roots (Mcewan Quinn and Ramsay)always suspected that we were rather different - also your books are greathave gleaned much info from them -( would love more exposure on Poland andwhat happened there as have roots as well!!)

Anna:
1. A friend.
2. Some times hard to find things.
3.Temple mound reports, I like the way you reportpolitical coments, without bitternes or cynicism. Scripture teaches that politics are part of G-d's rule for the land.

S:
1. Google search engine.
2. No
3. http://britam.org/manasseh.html.,
http://britam.org/great.html, [EPHRAIM SHALL BECOME A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS]
http://britam.org/CimmScyth.html

Jill:
2.Your site is wonderful; there is so much information and it is very interesting.
3. I find them all quite impressive.

Rick:
1. Surfing for information on the Lost Tribes, a favorite subject of mine since I was a teenager in the 60's and first heard about it.
2. I don’t go the the site that much anymore. I think Christians and Messianics are a majority of the readers of the website and more information should be available from the New Testament perspective even though Brit-Am doesn’t believe the New Testament.
3. All articles which give Biblical references and Historical proofs.

Robert:
1. Through web surfing and Origin of Nations website.
3.Jews are Judah, Book of Hosea, Cimmerians, Scythians and Israel
4. It is your site... if I find something I don't particularly agree with...I'm not closed minded to offend all the work you've done.

Sonia:
3.'WHY CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT MISSIONIZE JEWS'
'BIBLICAL PROOFS-IDENTIFYING THE LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL'(ALL ARTICLES AS CUMULATIVE PROOFS)
'LITTLE SISTER-ORAL LAW' BY RABBI AVRAHAM FELD

Steve:
2. I would not publish your picture. You are too much a target for Moslems.
3. Sorry, I cannot recall any of great outstanding impact above other articles. I am interested in its scholarship.

Ian:
2. Sometimes I do think there is just too much information there, and not enough photographs and diagrams. Sadly, I am no computer wizard, so I can’t help you there.
3. Archaeology, Moshiach ben Yoseph in Jewish Sources, The Roots of Islam are Pagan
4.There are a lot, and I have not read a quarter of them, but then somebody else may have a different taste to me. Keep them all there.

Jim:
The Talmud article, the Biblical proofs relating to Judah and Joseph.

Carol:
1. It is a link from a Messianic/Jewish site.
2. Nothing.
3. The mounds.
4. Yes, but they don't bother me, I just don't read them.

Dok:
1. Through surfing to find specific answers of some questions that I had. The site came up as a possible resource for the information that I was inquiring about.2. Nothing as far as I can tell.
3. I can't. I found all the articles equally informative and impressive.
4. Keep them all!! Where there is light, there is dark. Where there is something positive, there is also something negative. To appreciate the positive, the light, there have to be their counterparts.

Sandie:
4. Those that are clearly outside your main focus

Rein:
3. Brit-am now, Jeruzalem News, Psalms

Les:
1. Mentioned in broadcast
2. Sometimes difficult to find things but what's there is good.

Summary of Answers to Q.B.1,2,4:
People heard from friends or from friendly web-sites.
As noted previously this shows the importance of inter-personal communication in favor of Brit-Am.
Very few found anything wrong about the site or wished to answer the question concerning articles they wish were not there.
Jerusalem News is popular. Biblical Codes are appreciated more than we realized. The Proof of the Dolmens is also much appreciated though at least one respondent does not feel easy with it.
There is a surprising great diversity in favorite articles that were chosen. This reflects the blessedly widespread variegation of our audience.
In a sense the Brit-Am subscribers comprise a "little world" of our own, or rather "a little Israel", a microcosm of the entire range of Hebrew existence.
Each one of us should be entitled to view themselves as a pioneer, and as a representative of many others.

5. After Succot we hope to upgrade and overhaul the site. Do you have any suggestions?
6. What in your opinion are the worst articles on the site?
7. What subjects would you wish to see the site emphasize more?
8. What field of information does the site already deal with that you wish to know MORE about?
9. If you come back to the site more than once what articles do you go to?
10. If you do not visit the site frequently, why not?
11. If you had a business would you consider advertising on our site?
12. If you would not advertise with us, why not?.

Joyce:
7. God's hand in all this and his tremendous love for man through Israel.
8. I think you are doing really well.
9. Usually I search for information one of the tribes.
12. Most of all, BE ENCOURAGED! You are doing a great work.

Craig:
9. MANY FOR REFERENCE

Ron:
8. Archaeological proof of Josephite-Judaic connections

Michelle:
5. use the photos of England and America and Judah together. Great impact.
7. The Lost Tribes connections to Covenant.
Just like in medicine, the west says: "What is the Problem?" Answer: "Cut it out, give a pill for the pain and go home.
"The East says: "What's the problem?" Answer: what led to the problem ? lets fix the ROOT of the problem, then the rest will fix itself.
But Ephraim needs a REASON to change what they are doing now.
So far, The Covenant is only for Jews because the Jews say so and there is no one else saying any different.

Mark:
8. DNA PRESENT AND IF POSSIBLE ANCIENT RESULTS OR FINDINGS
11. Yes. [Note: Most answers were similar with some predicating it on suitability of business concerned.]

RK:
5. A section where we can start learning off either others with open minds, however with the Word of Gd in our hearts.
6. The ones that give acknowledgement to they want to stop the re-uniting of Israel.

9.Usually news.

Yoel:
8. Some basic prophetic input as researched by Rav P Winston
9. What ever I’m learning at the moment
10.Lack of time

Pat:
5. I find that I'm far more likely to read Yair's articles than those of other authors.
7. I enjoy the variety of subject matter on the site. But as I said before, I think it important to define exactly what the idolatrous offenses of the Israelites were that caused Hashem to disperse them among the nations. I think that this will be beneficial in allowing Tribers to identify their error.
8. I especially enjoy the Bible Codes, but there are many other topics I find fascinating as well.
9. I also like looking at the pictures of the ancient Hebrews.
I also love Tom Turner's Ezekiel Sticks.

Sal:
5. I would like to see your thoughts on probable events during the end times, just general expectations and what it will be like when Messiah comes, etc.
7. Perhaps a little on the demographics of all of the people who believe they are, or hope they are, members of the Lost Tribes. Who are they, where are they and what do they do....Sort of personalize it on an anonymous basis to avoid invasion of privacy.
9. Questions and answers, Current Affairs,Recent General Questions.

Cam:
5. Advertise
7. Early Israelite exile. I think most people are still trying to see whats in the sand that provides an answer or key that is convincing.
8. Everything

Thiemo:
6. The family name articles
7. archeological records, links with cultures. besides that it could be goodto show why scientists have difference in opinion. We know few abouthistory, but to make an understandable story some assumptions must be toldas fact. That is why many people thinks common told history is an absolutetruth.
8. I love to read about the Dutch and Frisians, and Y-DNA. A psychologistwould probably say that i would like to know more about myself.
9. Depends, probably most to the Cimmerian-Scythian doc and the tribespecific articles.

Wendy:
7. More on the lost ten tribes, HISTORICALLY, where they travelled, HOW , by what routes etc.

Jonathan:
other Jewish thought about the Lost tribes, thought which doesnt share Brit Am's stance about the anglo-saxon-celtic poeple. What they believe. Why they reject the Brit Am, position.

Dennis:
8. The subject of the Moshiach ben Yossef latter day Cyrus typeis especially interesting to me. I read Lost Israelite Identy over a decade ago and if the entire text was available online I am sure thatI would quote it and give the link on message boards.
9. Messiah son of Joseph most often.

Barry:
11. I HOPE ADVERTISING DOESN'T GET UP HERE.

Ollam:
8. Ireland.

Sharon:
10. I will have to read it again but at first it was my difficulty in understanding technical details of historical research andcompare them against technical details of commonly held research. Once I established the truth of Brit Ambiblically I was satisfied with that.

Anna:
9. Your comments on scriptue that are relevant.to the lost 10 tribes.

Scarlet:
7. The return of Joseph.
8. Return of Josesph.
9. Jerusalem News.

Jill:
I visit your website on a regular basis and read, and read and read. There is so much to read... and it is very interesting.

Rick:
If the Christian and Messianic perspectives on the Lost Tribes were available, I would probably read those articles, but it they were repetitious and tried to suck me into their dogma I would probably not read them.
10. I believe in the Lost Tribes completely, so I don’t need to spend a lot of time reading an article proving something to me I already believe.

RJ:
7. Language connections and information about the history upto the Parthian empire... Maybe take another look at Carthage,, and see how Israelite connection there is.
9. Spend most of my time looking at your archeological connections.

Sonia:
7. RABBINICAL ELABORATION ON THE LOST TRIBES AND THE RE-UNITING OF THE TRIBES.
9. BIBLICAL PROOF, JERUSALEM NEWS PAGE, EPHRAIMITE FORUM AND WHAT IS NECESSARY

Steve:
7. Just concentrate on proving the identity and whereabouts of the Tribes...
You should not get into religious controversies, it will casue you many problems you do not need.
8. Just do more of the same, you are doing fine.
9. To see what the issues are, and to catch up on learining more re sepcific identity attributes.

HD:
8. See the role of Islam in the history in relation with Israel.
You writing Daniel 10 of the role of angels odf nations.
If possible Esau has an angel but where is the angel of Ismael (see Zohar). The angel of Ismael complains by God etc.
9. the historical events.

Ian:
5. More pictures and diagrams. I remember when I was at university, the British text books were dry tomes, but American text books were full of pictures and diagrams and I always felt that I learned more from these books than from the ones with just plain text. Perhaps more archaeological articles which give support to Brit-Am concepts. Maybe Hershel Shanks at the Biblical Archaeology Society might be persuaded to help. That would also be a fine organisation to have on our side, but perhaps they would be wary of being seen to support us, as many academics oppose the ideas espoused by Brit-Am.
6. Haven’t read enough of them to comment. They are all interesting in their way. But perhaps the ones which rely solely on Biblical texts as proofs.
7. Archaeological support for Brit-Am ideas.
9. That really depends on what aspect of Brit-Am ideas I am researching.
10. Well ….. I tend to rely on the books. I absolutely hate reading from a computer monitor screen!

Jim:
8. Hebrew / Aramaic words that can be connected to the U.S. and Britain.
For instance the expression "Brit-Am"
And the words "evil" and "mile" in Aramaic mean the same thing in English, are pronounced and spelled the same.
Ancient terms like this show our heritage. I know there are more.

Carol:
6. Any that slam people of German descent.
7. How the lost tribes fit into bible prophesy.

Dok:
5. Nope, just keep doing what you are doing.
6. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. To some, some questions maybe stupid, but to others, not. How can one not learn, unless questions are asked?
10. Well, your site is part of my library for information. There are other areas that I look at too, from a historical point of view.

Sandie:
6. Some very ,very questionable outside sources that are laid out in detail- i mean the info can be held into question.
7. This may be somewhat speculative but to carry forward and build on what you already have presented in regards to recent and present identities of various tribes.
9. All dealing with basics of your focus.

Mike:
7. The joining of the two sticks (eytz) into one prophesied in Ezekiel 37.
8. The identity of Ephraim.
9. The history of the two houses.

Rein:
7. The near future [and the significance of ancestry]. (for example: I’m decended from an family which came from Sweden – Ekeren -, from North Germany/Denmark –Ton-, Frisians in Holland and old French nobility –Creveceour- which intermarried with Spanish nobillity.
So who am I?

Les:
7. An expanded article on Benjamin. Some sources say that when Benjamin and Judah returned that some Benjamin migrated to the Galilee. If the Galileans were mainly Benjamites this would be significant to some readers. I think this could be handled objectively (without theological discussions), as you are good at, but clearly showing the important role Benjamin has had in Israels history.that some Benjamin migrated to the Galilee. If the Galileans were mainly Benjamites this would be significant tosome readers. I think this could be handled objectively (without theological discussions), as you are good at, but clearly showing the important role Benjamin has had in Israels history.but clearly showing the important role Benjamin has had in Israels history.

Summary of Answers to Q.B.5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12:
We asked about changing the site in Q.5. We have changed the front page of the site since sending the Questionairre.
Concerning the site and its appearance,
Several gave professional and near-professional advice that we found valuable and in part have began to apply.
Many disliked the bright colors and sensational appearance in some of our articles. Several complained that the coloring made reading difficult. We have since taken these observations to heartand are trying to improve. Nevertheless, old habits are hard to break.

Q.6 Concerned worst articles on the site. Most avoided this question or had already answered it.

Q.7. A wide variety of preferences were evidenced reflecting the varied interests of our audience.
More Scriptural insights would be welcomed along with additional historical and related articles.

Q.8. In effect was not much different from Q.7.

Q.9. Jerusalem News is popular apart from which each person has their own proclivities that are not especially shared by others.

Q.10. Most people answered this question by saying they were pressured for time.
At all events, no hidden dissatisfaction with the site was discernible.

Qs. 11. & Q.12. Most would advertise with us if it was pertinent to do so.
