The Book of Proverbs
by Solomon
King of Judah and Israel
son of David

A Commentary by Brit-Am

The Book of Proverbs is called in Hebrew "Mishlei".  Literally this means the Parables of [Solomon].
Philosophers and mystics understood this work not only at the simple level. They also understood it to contain allegories dealing with deeper matters. We however will content ourselves with attempting just ot understood something at the simple literary level.
This should be more than hard enough.
