Hebrews at the Ends of the Earth.

The Land of Israel is at the Center of the Earth according to the Hebrew Bible (Ezekiel 38:12).

Ezekiel describes the attack of Gog and Magog against the Israelite Tribes in the End Times. The Israelites will have been gathered in and re-united as described in Ezekiel 37.
Gog and Magog will intend to attack the Israelites who are described as living "in the midst of the land" .

Ezekiel 38:
10 Thus says the Lord God: 'On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: 11 You will say, I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates'' 12 to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who
dwell in the midst of the land.

The Israelite will be living in the midst of the Land or in the Hebrew "Tabor Ha-Aretz" meaning  at the center of the world.
Ezekiel was in fact referring to those dwelling in the Land of Israel at the CENTER OF THE EARTH and the expression may be so understood as referring to the Geographic Central position of the Land of Israel from the Biblical viewpoint. The Land of Israel is at the Center of the Earth according to the Hebrew Bible.

The Lost Ten Tribes in the Period of their Exile will have been living at the Ends of the Earth.
The word used for 'end' or 'ends' in Hebrew, in connection with ends of the earth and Israel, is usually "Katseh", or in plural "Kastvot". This word, when connected with the word for "Earth" (Aretz), can be associated everywhere it appears in the Bible with the Lost Tribes of Israel. Most nations that contain a significant portion of Israelite descendants are situated at the "ends of the earth" meaning the geographical extremities as measured from Jerusalem. This is how it was prophesied. Most of the "ends of the earth" belong to Israel. North America, the British Isles, Northwest Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, which all may be considered "ends of the earth", and in these areas most people of Israelite descent, from the Ten Tribes, are to be found.

# Indeed He says, 'It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob,
And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You should be My salvation to
the ends of the earth.'# [Isaiah 49:6].

The whole of Isaiah 49 speaks of the Lost Ten Tribes as we have explained elsewhere and as confirmed by the Talmud and Midrash (Jerusalemi Sanhedrin ch.17, L.6,29 Numbers Rabah 1;6, Eichah Rabah 2;9).
See BAC to Isaiah 49:12.
cf. Isaiah 41:
8 'But you, Israel, are My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
The descendants of Abraham My friend.
9 You whom I have taken from
the ends of the earth,
And called from its farthest regions,
And said to you,
'You are My servant,
I have chosen you and have not cast you away:
10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Isaiah 43:
5 Fear not, for I am with you;
I will bring your descendants from the east,
And gather you from the west;
6 I will say to the north, 'Give them up!'
And to the south, 'Do not keep them back!'
Bring My sons from afar,
And My daughters from
the ends of the earth'

Deuteronomy 33:
"And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land (for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that croucheth beneath, And for the precious fruits...And for the chief things of the ancient mountains of the everlasting hills...of the earth and fullness thereof...the good will of HIM that dwelt in the bush.. His glory is like the firstling of his BULL, and his horns, are like the horn of a Unicorn with them he shall push the people together unto the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh" (Deuteronomy 33: 13-17).

In this (and other) blessings Joseph was promised agricultural bounty, mineral resources, favorable climate; He was associated with a people being pushed together unto the ends of the earth.

King David in Psalm 61 speaks of crying from the ends of the earth. This Psalm at first looks to be a personal prayer of David himself but it is not so. David identified completely with Israel. Whatever happened to Israel was felt by David as if he himself was personally experiencing it. When David cried for salvation he was viewing Israel in the 'Latter Times' and crying out on their behalf.

Psalms 61:
2 From
the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.

When the prophecies are taken literally they say that the Lost Ten Tribes will be at the "ends" or geographical extremities of the Earth the point of reference being the Land of Israel at the center. All peoples identified in our studies as containing the main proportion of descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes do dwell at the geographical extremities of the earth when the Land of Israel is taken as the central point of reference.

"Ends of the EARTH" when considered from the Land of Israel means:
North America, the British Isles, Northern  and Western Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, which all may be considered "ends of the earth", and in these areas most people of Israelite descent, from the Ten Tribes, are to be found. Most of the "ends of the earth" belong to Israel.

Ends of the Earth and Britain
The very name of England (Angleterre in French) can be understood as meaning "Corner of the Land", i.e. Angle-Land, or "End of the Earth". The prophet Isaiah appears several times to have located the Lost Tribes of Israel in the "Ends of the Earth" e.g. England, in the French language is called 'Angleterre', or literally end of the earth. We have shown how 'end of the earth' and 'ends of the earth' were one of the descriptions applied to the location of the Lost Ten Tribes in the End Times - according to the Prophets.

Irish Tradition
Irish Tradition also mentions the term End of the Earth as pertaining to Ireland. In fact traditional Irish Names for Ireland are those that Biblical and Rabbinical Sources associate with the Ten Tribes.
The traditions of Ancient Ireland are important since they reflect those not only of the present-day Irish but also many others of British Stock. From Ireland came the Scottii who settled in Western Scotland.
Several of the Tribes that moved to Wales came from Ireland. Many of the English and the Scotch Irish in Ulster and overseas are of Irish origin.
The Irish keep an oral tradition for centuries. Professional bards and master story tellers would memorize ancient traditions and genealogical records. This knowledge would be passed on from generation to generation.  These traditions have been proven by archaeological findings and DNA testings to be frequently correct.

One of the sources of Irish Tradition is the The Annals of the Four Masters (ca. 1630) which was written in Donegal in Northwest Ireland.

The Annals of the Four Masters describes how Ireland was referred to in ancient times:

One of the names was Crioch Fuinidh signifying the Final or remote country or more literally the Limit of the World.
Another name was  Inis Ealga signifying the noble or excellent island.
These two names were BOTH mentioned by Isaiah in connection with the Ten Tribes.
Isaiah linked the Ten Tribes with the end(s) of the world and with the most noble parts of it.
e.g "But thou Israel, my servant Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend...Whom I have taken from the ENDS OF THE EARTH and called thee from the most noble parts hereof" (Isaiah 41:8-9).
The Hebrew word "Atzil" is related to the Nordic "Aedil" meaning noble. So too, in Exodus 24:11 the plural of atzil is translated as nobles, "the nobles of the children of Israel".

We have here two of the names of Ireland linked with the Ten Tribes and the Ends of the World according to the Bible.

 Isles of the Blessed.
Another name mentioned in the Annals of the Four Masters was Insula Sacra or Sacred Isle.  This is another way of saying the Blessed Isles or Isles of the Blessed.
Britain (and Ireland) were the Isles of the Blessed that in Jewish Tradition where were the Ten Tribes were to be found. This was also repeated in Roman Mythology. The Romans identified Israel with Saturn (Cronos). They said that Saturn had been driven out of the Middle East and had gone with his followers to one of the Isles of Britain.

Summation
When the prophecies are taken literally they say that the Lost Ten Tribes will be at the "ends" or geographical extremities of the Earth the point of reference being the Land of Israel at the center. All peoples identified in oiur studies as containing the main proportion of descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes do dwell at the geographical extremities of the earth when the Land of Israel is taken as the central point of reference. This does NOT mean that everyone dwelling in such areas is descended from Israel. It does mean that "ends of the earth" according to our literal understanding is a valid point of reference and evidence that deserves to be considered as part and parcel of a complementary list of proofs that taken as a whole tell us where the Lost Ten Tribes are today.
