20. Ends of the Earth:
Biblical Proofs in Poetry
Sea-Farers

Background:
Isaiah chapter 42 refers especially to the Lost Ten Tribes.
Amongst other identifying signs Isaiah describes the Ten Tribes as they who dwell in the Ends of the Earth (Geographical extremites as measured from the Land of Israel), in Islands and who are sea-goers who will be all over the seas of the world (Isaiah 42:10).
This ties in with other proofs (that are discussed elsewhere) connected with this one such as Israelites being in many oceans and ruling the waves.
We show how this Prophecy uniquely applies to Nations whose populations include a significant number of Israelites.
Poem: Israelite Sea-Farers
Israelites would go Down to the Sea
Fishing and trading for you and me.
They will sing Praises of the Divine
From the Ends of the Earth and Isles.
Their ships washed with Ocean brine.
As decided by Providential Design.
They will outwit all enemy guiles.
As fortune upon their face smiles.
Ships of Britain, USA, and France
Holland, and Scandinavian Vikings
Over the Oceans their vessels prance
Skirting their enemies as in a dance.
Buying and selling and other things.
Their fame all over the world rings.
From the islands they shall return
Bearing their sons and daughters
Coming back as hearts do burn
Their Ships sailing over the waters.

"Rule the Waves" and Many Waters
Background:
(1) Rule the Waves

It was prophesied that Israel HE SHALL POUR THE WATER OUT OF HIS BUCKETS, AND HIS SEED SHALL BE IN MANY WATERS [Numbers 24:7],
This meant that he shall control the seas, and oceans. This prediction is similar to that of possessing the "Gates of his Enemies" or important strategic passes which is a promise we deal with separately.

Nations in which the Israelite element was dominant such as France,
Holland, and Britain have controlled the Oceans of the world.
Before that we had the Vikings in Scandinavia and the English from the 1500s
onwards.
In the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries it was said that "Britannia rules
the waves".
Since World War II this task has been inherited by the USA.
In continuation verse [Numbers 24:7] it says,
AND HIS KING SHALL BE HIGHER THAN AGAG, AND HIS KINGDOM SHALL BE EXALTED.
AGAG represents the most powerful ruler in the non-Israelite world. Israel will
surpass his might.
(2) Many Waters

Israelites would be in "Many waters": in all Oceans and on every sea. Powerful
world-encompassing kingdoms.

Prophesy said that the Ten Tribes will Rule the Sea
Together with other signs, few candidates there be.
Scandinavia, Holland, France, Britain and U.S.
Strategic ports and passes to control and possess.
The USA is Land of the Free and Home of the Braves.
In the past it was said "Britannia rules the waves".
This was the case for many a year and century
They shipped convicts to Australia as penitentiary!
Even now, Their ships over waves leap and bound
In many waters their vessels may still be found.
The Viking Raiders from Scandinavia set out
All over the world their prowess did shout
To Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales.
They burst forth, raiding with unfurled sails.
All this is history and happened in the past
Still the principle remains. Hold it fast!
The USA with a little British assistance
Extend Sea-Power into the distance.
They now rule over all the Oceans
Control international sea-motions.
Aircraft carriers and many island bases
Overawe whomsoever the US faces.
Their ships control the Pacific
They are really quite terrific.
Their fleets in the Atlantic
Make the enemy frantic.
Boats in the Indian Ocean
Prevent undue commotion.
Battleboats prowl the Arctic
Ranging to the Antarctic.
Moving in nuclear submarine
Enemy movements to screen
Military Information to glean.
All this without being seen!
Virtue of US-made machine.
Ruling the seas and ocean-water
They Not stumble, halt nor falter
This is one of several indications
That they are Hebrew nations.
To be judged in consideration
Of the complex total formation
Understood in contextual relation.
Hundreds of proofs from the Bible
Along with characteristics tribal
Evidence from secular fields
An overall picture it yields.
They are the People of the Book
That from Israel-Lands were took.
They lost their Hebrew identity
But remained an ethnic entity.
In boats they roamed the seas
Delighting in the Ocean breeze.
Long lost brothers to the Jews
Over the world in sailing cruise.
Remembrance of past to loose.
They were most powerful nations
That ever visited coastal stations.
They owned every sailing post
Their rulership, no empty boast.
This was the prophecy of Bilaam
Who was the Prophet of the Gentile
As explained by Yair from Brit-Am
Israel would be the ruling percentile.
This truth is revealed, and made clear
As we may see if to learn we persevere.
We may read, study and be quite sure
Chapters twenty-three and twenty-four
Is the source in the Book of Numbers.
The truth our hearts unencumbers.
